Bring the whole group to Maui Kamaole, a low-rise condominium resort spread across about 23 acres of gardens in South Kihei, directly across South Kihei Road from Kamaole Beach Park III. Your reservation includes two private 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condos with upstairs loft-style bedrooms: four bedrooms and four bathrooms in all, two full kitchens, two living rooms and two private lanais, with two pool areas, each with its own hot tub, two tennis courts and gas barbecues throughout the grounds.



What we guarantee: Both condos are always inside Maui Kamaole. Unit A is a 2-bedroom condo and Unit B is a 2-bedroom condo, with exactly the beds listed under Bed types in every bedroom. Each home has the view shown for it in its photos. Both homes are kept to the same quality standard, with finishes similar to what you see in these photos. If we ever could not deliver that, you would approve the alternative first or receive a full refund.



Bed types: Unit A - Bedroom 1 (upstairs loft-style room): King; Bedroom 2: King. Living room sofa bed; Unit B - Master Bedroom: King; Bedroom 2: Queen (upstairs loft-style room). Living room sofa bed.



The 4 bedrooms sleep 8 guests at 2 per bedroom, and the sleeper sofa in each living room sleeps 2 more, adding 4 additional guests for a combined maximum of 12.



Both condos are split-level homes with an upstairs loft-style bedroom reached by a flight of stairs. In Unit A, the king primary bedroom is in the private upper-level loft with its own en-suite bathroom, and a second king bedroom is downstairs. In Unit B, the king primary bedroom is on the main level and the queen bedroom is upstairs in the loft-style room. Each home has a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a sleeper sofa and a private lanai.



Good to know before you book: each condo has its own front door and its own entry details. Maui Kamaole has no guest elevators, and both homes have internal stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The beach is across the road rather than directly in front of the buildings. There is a 4-night minimum, with check-in from 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM.



The Space:

Unit A (2BR): Unit A is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom split-level condo. The primary bedroom is in a private upper-level loft with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom, a quiet retreat above the living area. Downstairs, the second bedroom also has a king bed, served by the second bathroom, so two couples share the home with equal comfort. The main level holds the living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, cookware and dishes, and a private lanai for breakfast outside. The living room sofa opens into a bed for two more guests, bringing this home to 6.



Unit B (2BR): Unit B has a king primary bedroom on the main level and a queen bedroom upstairs in a loft-style room under the vaulted ceiling, with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living and dining area that opens onto its own lanai. A sleeper sofa in the living room adds space for two more guests, for a total of 6 in this home.



The resort: Maui Kamaole is a 316-unit low-rise resort set among about 23 acres of lawns and tropical gardens, giving it a spacious, uncrowded feel. There are two separate pool areas, each with a hot tub, two tennis courts, and gas barbecue areas throughout the grounds, including pavilions by the pools and the tennis courts, so a sunset cookout is never far from your door. Both condos are inside Maui Kamaole, so the whole group shares the same pools, courts and grounds. Booking two condos in the same resort rather than one large house gives a group the best of both: everyone gathers for meals, pool afternoons and sunsets, and then each family or couple has its own kitchen, living room and lanai to retreat to, so early risers and night owls never get in each other's way. The split-level layouts add a little extra privacy too, with one bedroom tucked upstairs in each home.

Your reservation includes the private interiors of both condos, each with its own front door and its own entry details, plus the shared Maui Kamaole amenities: two pool areas, each with a hot tub, two tennis courts, and the gas barbecue areas and pavilions throughout the grounds.



The Neighborhood:

Kamaole Beach Park III and the Kihei Boat Ramp are directly across South Kihei Road. Kamaole III is one of South Maui's favorite family beaches, with soft sand, lifeguards and calm morning water for swimming, snorkeling along the rocky edges and stand-up paddling, and the boat ramp is a launch point for snorkel and whale-watching trips. Kamaole Beach Parks I and II are a short drive north, and the South Kihei Road corridor between them is packed with restaurants, coffee shops, shave ice stands and markets.



Keawakapu Beach, a long crescent of golden sand on the Kihei-Wailea border, is about five minutes down South Kihei Road, and Wailea is roughly two minutes away by car, with the Wailea Beach Path, resort beaches like Mokapu, Ulua and Wailea, and The Shops at Wailea for dining and boutiques. The Wailea and Makena golf courses are close by, and Makena's beaches lie a few miles farther south.



Winter is whale season, and the Kamaole beach parks are excellent places to watch humpbacks from the shore. Maalaea Harbor, where most Molokini Crater snorkel cruises depart, is about 15 minutes north, and Upcountry Maui and Haleakala National Park are easy day trips. Closer to home, the evenings belong to the sunset: the Kamaole beaches face west, and the sky over the water puts on a show most nights of the year.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport (OGG), Maui's main airport, is north of Kihei along the Mokulele Highway, roughly half an hour by car in normal traffic. A rental car is the best way to explore the rest of the island, and parking is on site at Maui Kamaole. Kamaole III and the boat ramp are across the street, and Wailea's shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes' drive. Rideshare operates on Maui, and airport pickups are easiest to arrange in advance.
