Mana Kai 805, Newly Remodeled, top floor condo with stunning views! It doesn't get any better than this! Mana Kai is one of Kihei's most exclusive resorts, located right on Keawakapu Beach! This beautifully remodeled 2bd/2bath is perfect for families and couples retreats!

As you enter you are immediately drawn to the amazing ocean views from this top floor condo! Spend your days relaxing on your private lanai. Watch whales breaching, during the Winter season, and dine al fresco with a gorgeous Maui sunset as your backdrop!

Full remodel April 2023!! The open living area features a large flat screen TV and a new sleeper sofa to allow for additional sleeping for up to 6 guests. Newly updated kitchen features crisp white cabinetry, grey stone counters, and new stainless appliances and is fully equipped with everything any home chef would need for meals prepared at home. Enjoy dining indoors or out, both offering seating for four.

The Primary suite functions as a studio and can be separated from the living area by push back shoji style doors. This room features a California King bed, luxurious linens, and access to the huge lanai. The en suite bath offers a walk-in shower and a large vanity ideal for getting beach or dinner ready.

The Guest suite is spacious and offers a queen bed, flat screen TV, AC, and an en suite bath along with a built-in desk area. The perfect setup for couples traveling together! Additional amenities include beach chairs, beach towels, and ductless AC throughout the condo.

The resort atmosphere includes an oceanfront pool, 4 propane BBQs, onsite coin/credit card operated laundry facilities on each floor, a fitness center, 808 Deli and General Store, and open-air dining and full bar at the ground floor Restaurant coming late 2025. You can also rent beach gear and bikes at the Surf Shack Maui, conveniently located on the ground floor.

Enjoy favorite Keawakapu Beach, a long sandy beach that fronts many luxury homes and resorts. You can admire the sunset, be delighted by Humpback Whales in the winter months, and access beach activities such as snorkeling or paddleboarding and kayaking. Outdoor showers and restrooms are located on the beach level.

Mana Kai will continue construction and maintenance effective immediately, including essential concrete repairs near the lobby and restrooms, as well as preparations for the new Beach House at Mana Kai restaurant by Handcrafted Restaurants (Peter Merriman, known for Monkeypod Kitchen, Merriman’s, and others). While we do not have a full schedule or end date yet, work will take place on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no activity on weekends or holidays. Guests may experience some noise and temporary restroom closures during this time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you.

The rental unit and property were fantastic, clean, great views and very comfortable. Everything is well maintained. Beach access is excellent.The one MAJOR ISSUE was the deceptive pricing from VRBO. They claim the cost of the rental is all inclusive of fees when booking. But we found out after booking and getting charged that VRBO adds a separate fee on top of the all-inclusive rental costs that were quoted in their app. So if you are renting through VRBO, be aware that you will be charged an extra fee more than the all-inclusive fees quoted. IT'S VERY DECEPTIVE!!! AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!

Nothing compares to this view for the money! We've been vacating at the Mana Kai for about 40 years. It's magical..Had a problem getting the A/C to go on..at times it worked intermittently.. the sensor didn't trigger when the sliding glass doors were closed.. Called the property manager and offices were closed. They sent a text the next day saying I needed to close sliders.. Hopefully someone adjusted the sensors. Also, we've been waiting for 4 years for the new restaurant and bar to open.. no work was done while we were there in Oct..Monkeypod said the "Ocean House" will open in February.. fingers crossed.. The 808 General Store is great for salads and daily food specials.. Also, Tracy at the activity booth knows her stuff and has many connections.. She directed us to the Kihei Luau, sunset catamaran cruise and Maui Ocean Center aquarium at Maalaea Harbor.. Which was so cool.. even for adults.

Room 805 had everything we needed for a great time on Maui. The view is spectacular, the beach is fantastic and the condo works great for a family of four.

Location, location, location! Wonderful stay!

We have stayed at the Mana Kai for 40+ years making many happy 4-generation memories. The 8th floor units, above the coconut trees, allow for the best views looking down the shoreline towards Wailea, up country/Haleakala, and Molokini. The building is beachfront, so hearing the surf reminds you where you are, and the coral reef there is great for snorkeling and exploring tide pools. We were happy to see turtles have made their way to this area, so no pricey boat ride is needed for good snorkeling and sea turtle sightings. The restaurant remains closed, which was a disappointment, but we were told permits have been granted so construction can begin. The Merriman's group is coming in, which will be a real treat. The 805 unit was casual and comfortable for our group. It is not fancy, more beach-house style, but the magnificent view is the jewel of the unit. Supplies were sparing, but adequate for a basic 6-7 day stay, and it would have been nice to have some storage containers, plastic bags/wrap and foil in addition to the supplied paper towels, Kleenex and TP. The bathtub in the 2nd bathroom needs some attention freshening up the caulking and chips in the white porcelain exposing the black metal tub. It didn't appear "re-modeled" as recently as stated. CB Island Vacations was responsive and pleasant to deal with, and adding the extra half day extension to our check out to enjoy another day in the unit and be freshened up before our red-eye flight home was so worth it. Nice!

Winter Whale Watching

Perfect location for winter whale watching from the lanai. We had binoculars for an even better view, but you could easily see the whale spouts and tail slaps without any enhancement. Building is right on the ocean, close enough that you can hear the waves crashing from inside the condo which drowns out most other peripheral noises. Unit shows slight signs of wear, but was clean and is well-stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. We had a slight problem upon arrival with the door code, but the owner responded to text in under 5 min and helped us resolve quickly. This place is on the far south end of Kihei. You would need to plan for a good hike if you want to walk to restaurants and shops. But it's only a quick drive to get to those. For us, we liked being a bit distanced from the hustle and bustle. Overall, a nice place, we would readily stay here again.

This property was clean, modern kitchecn appliances, all working equipment including AC in both rooms, TV,free wifi. I felt property is slighlty smaller than it appear in photos (but i guess its expected). Very nice view of ocean, sunrise and sunset.

We have stayed at the Mauna Kai numerous times and this was a 1st for this unit. Location is great!! Comfortably furnished and a very comfy bed. One thing the kitchen could use is a Brita water filter. The tap water has a slight off taste to it and a filter would have made it pleasant. Our grandchildren and family were in another unit and they had a brita filter and said their drinking water was good! Overall it was a lovely stay and the sunsets and beaches are a A+! Looking forward to out next stay.

Great Location

Mana Kai Maui is a beautiful property. Room 805 has a beautiful view, had nice furniture on the lanai, and also had nice furniture on the inside of the unit. The only downside is the unit has 2 mini-split HVAC units in the bedrooms, so the bathrooms stay much warmer than the rest of the condo. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Mana Kai multiple times in various units. We love the location! The view is amazing. 808 deli is on the main floor, they offer delish salads, paninis, wraps as well as grocery items. This unit was clean and maintained. It had plenty of kitchen supplies. We would stay there again.

The view and lanai make this the dream condo for your next visit to Maui. We comfortably fit 4 adults and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Amazing location. Unit comes with multiple beach chairs which is a huge plus. Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Best beach view from 8th floor room. Property under construction now only one elevator working. Restaurant is being redone so not operational and the mini store also closed for renovations. Our AC unit didn't work well but only 2 days were hot. Great breezes cool you off. 😎

Amazing Location, Okay Rental

The location and view from this place are amazing. The building is very nice, and the staff is kind and helpful. I give the staff, beach, and ocean view a 5 star review! However, there were a few surprises that were disappointing. First, the AC unit does not work AT ALL. We thought this issue would be fixed by our trip because the rental company said a new one was being installed in response to previous bad reviews. We have a digital room thermometer, and the AC, which is in a small bedroom that should cool easily, never dropped the temperature below 80 degrees by the time we went to bed (even after running it 24 hours multiple times to see if it would work). Also, the instructions for the rental say that you are not allowed to set the AC below 70 degrees to avoid breaking the unit. It's a moot point because it doesn't work at all anyway. Second, the supplies are very stingy in this unit. Upon arrival, we found 6 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults for 4 weeks. They did end us giving us a bit more 2 days after telling us we had to buy our own (so we had already gone out and purchased it), but be prepared to purchase all the basic supplies that you would expect to be provided for your stay: toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, paper towels, soap, toiletries, etc. They provide what they call a "starter kit," and then you have to purchase your own. I have never before stayed at a place that is so stingy with supplies, which is surprising because this is the most expensive rental I've booked by far. They provide 1 beach towel and chair per person but no other beach equipment like an umbrella, cooler, etc. Again, we had a great stay because we still loved the location and people, but we heard from a number of people who live in the building that this apartment is pretty out of date compared to the other units. I'd say to book a different room if you want to stay in this building.

Paradise

This condo is a slice of paradise. The views from the unit are spectacular and peaceful. We enjoyed watching whales from our lanai and listening to the waves day and night. The unit was very comfortable and provided all that we wanted, with one exception. There was no air conditioning. This was rather disappointing. The listing information on the unit indicated that there was AC. There was a window unit in the guest bedroom that did not work. There was no AC at all in the living areas or primary bedroom area. There are ceiling fans in each living space which made the unit sufficiently comfortable. Fortunately during our stay the outside temperatures were moderate.

805 is a great unit at the Mana Kai. It does not have the updates the other units we have stayed in here (finishes, A/C, furnishings), but still nice and clean with everything you need to be comfortable in the unit. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and good information and compliance everywhere on the resort property.

Vista hermosa y fauna

La vista es la que observas en las fotos, está hermoso y hay mucha fauna ahí mismo en la sección de playa del condominio; está muy limpio el lugar, muy cómodas las habitaciones, con excepción de que la B no tiene aire acondicionado, si sufres con el calor la habitación A es la opción. Muy buena opción de alojamiento.

Amazing location

The location is breathtaking. The room had a few cleaning problems but housekeeping Came right away to fix the problems. Unit Could use updating and there was only AC in guest room. The view made up for these things. Great snorkeling right On site, many fish and saw 2 sea turtles Within 1 hour!
