  • Welcome to Kings Island on Kiawah! This striking home boasts four master bedrooms and is just a quarter of a mile away from our sugar-sand Carolina beaches. You'll find tall ceilings, fine fixtures, and plenty of space for the entire family here. Check out the newly installed pool!

    Upon entering the home you'll be greeted by a grand staircase. On the first level there is the open living area with floor-to-ceiling windows. This space leads into the sweeping kitchen, with a breakfast table, TV, and it's own lounge area with sofa. Next you'll find the formal dining area with seating for eight!

    Our first master suite can be found just off of the living room, with a king bed and access to the back porch. The large master en-suite hosts a soaking tub, double vanities, and a shower. Take the grand staircase in the foyer to the second level, where the next two bedrooms reside. A bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two twins are separated by the landing area, each with their own respective private full bathrooms! The final bedroom is a very private loft-style room above the garage. It has its own living area and bathroom, a TV, and a king size bed.

    The beautiful lagoon in the back offers stunning sunset views from the porch area. Grill out or enjoy a glass of wine after a long day at the beach! Or just observe our plentiful nature and wildlife. Whether you came for an island adventure, lazy beach days, wildlife watching, or just a few days of solace - this is the perfect vacation home for you. And we can't wait to host you!

Quiet with relaxing views and excellent layout of spaces within house. Very sort and pleasant walk to the beach. (The walk was actually as short as advertised!)

Incredible Stay! Highly Recommend!

We have been to Kiawah a few times and this was our favorite location yet! The owners had just added a brand a new pool which was great. House has lovely views and it was really easy to get to the beach. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Management company was very helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

We've been spoiled by more experienced property managers.

Having had the opportunity to stay in other places, Sweetgrass Properties appeared amateurish. We learned the other VRBO rental on Kiawah Island provides: 1. On Island Transportation 2. Access to Parks for swimming, tennis, paddle ball, etc 3. Reservation to Island Restaurants Although Sweetgrass Properties did not provide amenities mentioned above, they made up for it with higher prices. We arrived a 5:15PM and the cleaning crew was just leaving. We were authorized to use the garage, but there was no information in the house book regarding the key code. I had to call the office to get the code. The house was large, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Although the pool was small, the alligator in the lagoon behind the house was the size of a Buick. The location was deep in the Island, with easy walking or bike riding distance to the beach. However, if you cared to carry an ice chest, chairs, umbrella, and towels, there was no place near the beach to park close to the house to bring the extras. We lost TV reception for several hours as Comcast shut down. Sweetgrass properties can't control the actions of Comcast TV reception. However, they should have a method (via text, email, etc) to alert renters of changes that affect their stay. I had the opportunity to suggest these things with Sweetgrass properties and they were very receptive to my suggestions. I feel certain that with additional experience Sweetgrass Properties may exceed your expectations.
