« Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. Loved the room layout with small kitchen and comfortable king size bed. Quiet hotel for getting a good night’s sleep, but close to restaurants, gas, and convenience shopping. No continental breakfast, but lobby stays stocked with free coffee, apples, yogurt, and snacks. Great stay! »

« When traveling with a dog it's often hard to find a place that approves their admittance, but Bear Paw Inn graciously did and without imposing a ridiculously high fee. The young lady at the desk when we arrived was pleasant, friendly, and very patient with this road-weary traveler who was somewhat confused over whether we'd already been charged (we weren't). We ended up with a VERY clean, exceptionally comfortable room (2 queen beds) that was rustic yet cozy. I would recommend and certainly...

« Great place to stay! Close enough to walk into Houghton over the lift bridge. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom was wonderful, able to make waffles and have coffee in their lounge, staff was so kind and friendly. Already booked our next stay! »
