« The staff make you feel so welcome when you arrive and throughout your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious with several options for hot food and a buffet of cold food. Lovely views from the dining room too. We missed the free afternoon homemade cake the first day so they made my husband gluten free flapjacks and put them on our breakfast table the next day. « Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...
