« Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. « Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall. »

« Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. « La chambre était de très bonne taille. La propreté était parfaite. Le personnel gentil et accueillant. Cependant, la chambre était au rez-de-chaussé et on pouvait entendre chaque pas des voisins du dessus, ce qui n'était pas un plus à 5h du matin. À part ça, c'etait super. »

« Have stayed here a few times. Staff are always courteous, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. My only gripe would be that the shower unit could do with a shower mat to prevent slipping and falling and that the shower temperature was not quite hot enough even when turned up to full. Nevertheless overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and I will continue to book here in the future when visiting Sheffield. »
