« Very "basic" lodging close to airport. Google Maps is accurate. Small room but very clean. No aircon but ceiling and standing fans. Very nice staff. There's a TV but it's not plugged into any cable or satellite box (at least mine wasn't). You could plug in your laptop if you have an HDMI cord. Good WiFi .Good hot water. No bottled water or bathroom amenities to speak of. Basic breakfast brought to your room. It's quiet. It's inexpensive. It's safe. It supports a local small business. »

« Lovely and clean rustic place including room and common area. Love the detailing to the space, better ambience than in a hotel! We could easily park our car safely at the space outside near the garden within the house compound. Cosy and clean bedding, equipped with electric kettle, fridge and cooking place. Good WiFi, could shower comfortably in the bath. Highly recommended! »

« Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

« This is a hidden quiet gem in the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. A lovely property with beautiful garden at the end of an embassy lined street close to Karura forest. The inn has five bed rooms with ensuite bathrooms and provides a delicious breakfast as well as other meals which can also be enjoyed on the porch, don't be surprised by monkey sightings :). Great hospitality and service from Ali and Alfred, both very kind, courteous and informative. Highly recommend if you're looking for...
