« We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1. »

« Very clean property and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, however two of the four bed are on the floor without bed frames which was a surprise. Since some of us were on the senior side of time, we had to decide who was best able to get off the floor. Do bring your own shampoo, soap etc. as they are not provided. Photos do not do the home justice, it's more beautiful than the photos. Excellent, quiet neighborhood but parking is a bit crowded if you have more than two vehicles. »

« We had a wonderful stay with family. The property is large enough to have big gatherings and well kept. We enjoyed the peaceful location surrounded by the trees. Great place for walks and letting dogs run around. Will definitely consider staying here again. »

« My family stayed over Thanksgiving break. There was a window of fantastic weather with clear skies. We would start the day with coffee on the porch, watching the ducks play in the lake. Then we daytripped to Portland to hike. We drove up towards the mountains for breathtaking views of Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens. Then we would come back and cuddle up by the fireplace. Kara's home feels just like that - home. We would love to go back there next winter, or even during the summer to enjoy the lake....

« This brand new home had everything needed for my stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to work and chill within the comfort of the home. Parking was no problem right next to the house. The neighborhood is in a beautiful, quiet area and the short drive to the interstate made local travel easily accessible. Would love to come back. »

Immediately upon arrival he was already lighting the fire for us, letting us know that we don't have to worry about the noise and to just communicate with him which was such an amazing welcome! « I've stayed here twice now and absolutely love this place. It has all the comforts of home, is beautifully decorated, and the views are spectacular. Check-in is a breeze and communication with the owner couldn't be any better. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay when visiting family! »
