Bachelorette stay â great time with friends, but disappointing stay overall
We stayed at this property for my bachelorette weekend. While we had a great time together, the cabin experience wasnât what we expected. Before arrival, the host informed me there might be some landscaping, which I appreciated, but wasnât prepared for the level of construction. We were in Cabin 1, surrounded by workers sawing, excavating, and moving materials all weekend. I asked if it would continue and was told Iâd get a follow-up, but never did. The work continued the whole time we even sent videos showing how close and disruptive it was. The noise and lack of privacy made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. Some workers repeatedly chatted with us, which felt intrusive. One friend was approached by someone who questioned our group size and vehicle count it was unnecessary. The listing described the cabin as âwaterfront,â but it wasnât. Trailers were parked on the beach by workers, and no one felt comfortable hanging out there. Inside, the cabin was spotless definitely 5 stars but the surrounding area was not. A scrap yard was right beside us where excavation took place. The coffee maker was broken, but the host replaced it quickly. She apologized and offered a future stay; I asked for a late checkout instead, but was declined. The host was polite, but Cabin 1 isnât ready for guests until construction is complete and the listing reflects the reality.
