  • Remontez le temps à Rockview, un chalet d'été construit vers 1900 comme une escapade d'été pour une famille Keeseville locale et maintenu à ce jour par cette même famille. Profitez de la plage de crique et de sable semi-privée de Rockview, de notre quai de 25 pieds, du ciel d'été et de toutes les merveilles de la nature dans les montagnes Adirondack. Faits saillants comprennent un porche entièrement filtré avec une vue panoramique sur le lac Champlain, un endroit loin du bruit et de l'agitation des villes (même si vous entendrez un train passer de temps en temps), couchages confortables, une cuisine entièrement équipée, véranda balançoire, et notre belle cour au bord du lac avec des pins chuchotant, des oiseaux, un hamac, et une chaise Adirondack sièges.

    La principale source d'eau du chalet est pompée du lac. L'eau du lac est sans danger pour la baignade et le nettoyage de la vaisselle (service d'eau chaude et froide fourni). L'eau potable / de cuisson doit être transportée.

Summer House

Beautiful views; kitchen well stocked with dishwear, pans, knives etc; sandy beach. Wonderful house to stay in for a week in the summer. Good hikes near by too.

An old fashioned, rustic family camp on Lake Champlain with great views and a neat path down the hill to a nice sandy beach in a protected cove. Private and quiet but a shared beach with friendly neighbors. A big screened in porch and comfy beds were perfect for a laid back family gathering.

Timeless lake experience

Great views of Burlington and the moon coming up over Willsboro bay… Camp is as advertised and well equipped. Very private with access to sandy beach… perfect for our family. Thank you to our host.

Nice Quiet Spot

Quiet spot on the lake. Beautiful views, lovely little beach cove. Water pressure was surprising at times (trickle or explosion!) but otherwise a sweet rustic spot to spend the week.

Perfect View

Rockview was just what I was looking for - a nice, quiet place for my family to spend a week together on the lake. The cabin was very quaint, and the screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax. Your neighbors are not right on top of you, and there's no traffic going by. There is plenty of privacy. And we all loved the little cove by the water. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to make it there again.

Magic!

This is a perfect getaway! The setting is absolutely serene and stunning. The cottage is nestled on a rock overlooking the lake, and is very private. A winding and scenic path takes you down to a sandy beach, in a beautiful little cove. The cottage itself is well supplied and very comfortable! It has a rustic charm to it. The large screened in porch was a great place to spend time as a family. This was an actually very relaxing vacation!

We had a great week!! We loved the porch and walking down to the beach. Beautiful view of Lake Champlain and Burlington. Bedding, towels and beach towels were provided and everything felt very clean. It was a pretty warm week, we were happy to have fans in each room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The binder of information about the cabin and surrounding area was very helpful. Great communication with Jim about our stay. We loved everything about our vacation! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

Private Gem

Clean. Chic. Restful. Family camp or couple’s retreat. A private gem on a quiet cove among the pines. Nearby hiking trails, bike routes, swimming and as many active or quiet pursuits as you can fit into your stay. The house is not furnished with modern amenities but washing your own dishes is a worthy endeavor after enjoying a meal overlooking the lake.

Totally misrepresented listing, with no actual SAFE access to beautiful appealing, beach shown & described in listing. After complaints to (out of state) owner, lack of safe access and cockroaches, cleaning person showed up day 6 (evening before departure) to see the cockroaches. Also TOTALLY unsafe accessibility. No entrances have railings with steps landing on unlevel stone & boulders. Could not be safe for children with property on very high cliffs, unsafe stairways.

Peaceful panorama

We spent our time at the cottage overlooking the lake swimming, reading, knitting, kayaking, cooking, and watching the natural landscape.

Lake lovers paradise

It's a "camp" in the Adirondack tradition. Rustic, old, no A/C or granite countertops...think wide-plank painted floors and claw-foot tub. We like amenities when we pay for them anyway but are not "amenity-driven" travelers. Rockview satisfies at the most elemental level. The view, the view, AND did I mention the VIEW? The panorama is absolutely stunning and gives new meaning to the term "binge-watching". The beach is great too and we got good use from the kayaks. I can't imagine a better place to "wile" away the days/nights than Rockview...any time of year!

Charming vintage Adirondack camp on lake Champlain

Rockview is a great rental; clean, comfy, with a vintage appeal. It's in a terrific natural setting right on Lake Champlain. It also has something you don't often find on a lake: a beautiful sandy beach. The Host, Jim, was very accommodating. Great place to relax.

Picture perfect cottage with rock and lake view!

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the cottage reminded us of our grandparents home in our childhood. The lake view from the cottage was awesome and the beach was very good. Kids had lot of fun in the beach and adults too. The pizza from Giuseppe's Pizza Shop was very delicious too. Overall we all had a great time! Thank you again Jim for sharing your cottage with us!

Another wonderful stay

So happy to be able to stay at Rock View again this fall, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Champlain. It’s a perfect location, and the view and beach cannot be beat. Jim is a wonderful host, and I’m looking forward to staying at Rock View again next year.

We searched among many places and the setting for Rockview just grabbed us. Everything in the listing more than met our satisfaction. The only thing lacking in the listing is how truly spectacular the beach is. Our dogs loved it too.

While we were only there for three days, we absolutely loved Rockview and wish we could have stayed longer! It was like stepping back into time, and you can sense what a meaningful retreat this has been for many, many families. Thank you for sharing this special place with us, we hope to come back one day! Spectacular location

The location of the cabin is spectacular and it is well stocked and comfortable. Good quality towels and linens included. Remembering it is a rustic cabin with old-world charm lets one overlook some minor inconveniences like no drinkable water on tap, very low water pressure for the shower, etc. . We were very grateful that Wifi was added this year and worked great! Overall, we had a very good week as a family sheltering together in the pandemic. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and enjoyed swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The kitchen is very workable to cook in and well stocked, but if you want to order pizza , we recommend Guiseppe's pizza in Keeseville!!
