Maisons de campagne à Kataragama

« My dad and I spent two nights in this beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the check-in to check-out. Property was very well maintained and conveniently located near Kiri vehera and Wadasity kanda. We had Sri Lankan style breakfast and it was delicious and came in generously large portions. Hotel arranged our Yala safari tour and were willing to pack our breakfast for the early morning trip. I highly recommend Kynrock hotel. »

« L'établissement est très joli, au calme, au bord d'un grand lac avec des singes et des oiseaux. Grande chambre propre avec un frigo et le nécessaire à thé/café, mais quelque peu impersonnelle, sans décoration. La salle de bain mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Le personnel n'est pas très communiquant. La salle de restauration mériterait d'être refaite car avec son plafond si haut, tout résonne, même quand il y a très peu de monde. La piscine est agréable et propre, avec un grand bassin, mais...

« Our stay at Yala Safari Camping was absolutely amazing! The staff greeted us at the meeting point outside the park and organized a private ride to the glamping tents. When we arrived there was a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch waiting for us. Our room was very clean, air conditioned and equipped with everything we could need. It was also beautifully nestled into the jungle with amazing views and surrounded by wildlife. The safari tour was great, our guide was very helpful and made sure we had a...

« Nice place, quiet and enjoyable »

« I had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful, with palm trees and a lake right in front of the room. It is the most beautiful location I have experienced so far in Sri Lanka. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. They took me for a walk to the lake, organized a safari for me, and arranged a reliable driver at a very reasonable price. Everything was perfectly organized. The food was excellent. The curry was the best I have had in Sri Lanka, and the fresh breakfast was...

« The stay was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owners of the property who showed exceptional hospitality. The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. The owners helped with arranging a jeep for the safari and were ready to help with any other requests. I would highly recommend staying at the property if you’re going for the Yala Jungle Safari. »

« The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was as comfortable as possible. Great location with real homely atmosphere. »

« Staff was super friendly Rooms are okay for the price The property need a refresher »

« Super exclusive base for safaries. Fantastic food from breakfast to lunch and dinner, very knowledgeable guides and great service overall. Would recommend to anyone looking for a premium experience in Yala. »

« Makini Bush Camp is an absolute gem in Yala! The stunning tented rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts you could wish for, including a refreshing plunge pool—perfect for cooling off after a walk in the bush. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay, accommodating a range of experiences, including a half-day safari inside the park and a delightful nature walk around the camp. Our guide, Mr. Koushalya, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate...

« Met zijn 7en een slaapvertrek. Heel erg ruim. Mooie buitendouche en toilet. Heerlijk buiten gegeten. Vers bereid!! Erg behulpzaam ook met de safari. Wij hebben ons heel erg thuis gevoeld! »

« Worst Experience – This is Not Even a Hotel This place should not be listed as a hotel. It is located in the middle of nowhere, completely inaccessible by car. We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the entire facility was in a state of severe neglect. Mold was present everywhere — on the walls, ceilings, and even furniture. The conditions were absolutely unacceptable. We...

« First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

« We knew this would be an adventure in the jungle without normal comforts but this was really disappointing. The tent were generally quite dirty but the main problem is the only toilet on the whole site is in your own tent and out tent smelt of sewage so badly we left after one night as we could not stand another night there. There were also a million insects including a giant millipede as the zips do not completely seal off tent. Then the bar was not operating as their licence has expired. The...
