Amazing waterfront property with boat slip and epic outdoor living space for unforgettable gatherings. Family friendly and spacious this home offers a hot tub and a SLIDE! This IS the place to come for fun! There are no other properties in the area that offer as many amenities as this TRULY FOUR SEASON destination does.

Arrive to this gated property with a 4 car covered parking area to spend time with your family and friends in this amazing area with so many things to do! Shop, Fish, Boat, Sun, Toast S'mores at the fire pit, play games, swing on the various porch swings, SLIDE into the Bayou from the high porch with the fun yellow slide.

Launch your kayak or canoe into the expansive local paddling trail system right from the lower deck! Maps can be located online at https://www.tpwd.texas.gov. This property offers boat slips as well to accommodate your personal watercraft.

Enjoy a soak in the Bullfrog HOT TUB for 4-6 adults! This area is well light and can be shaded for extra privacy. There is a fun Patio Lounge for hanging out as well.

Comfortably sleep 8 in the main house with linens and extra blow up beds on site. Multiple beds and clean bathrooms along with an extra large water heater are sure to make your stay cozy. Linens are included at this property so you feel right at home.

The kitchen and dining areas are perfect for noshing with your family. This well stocked kitchen is ready to be used. The large island and inside table seating for 8 as well as multiple outdoor dining areas are great for spending time. For outdoor grilling you will find a gas grill as well as a charcoal option. Fuel for either option are available locally; should you choose.

On shore there is a small guest house that is available for rent ONLY in addition to the main house. This area must be rented for the duration of the stay. There will not be another family on the property at the same time the main house is being rented. Please inquire about rates to include this super fun cabin in your stay.

Merveilleux endroit de quiétude

Nous avons passé deux nuits à The Nest Pelican et nous avons adoré l'endroit. Dommage que nous soyons venus au mois de mars et qu'il n'a pas fait suffisamment chaud pour profitez à fond de toutes les possibilités qu'offre l'environnement.

We had a wonderful time! It was very welcoming, spacious open concept kitchen, dining, and living area. The decks were wonderful for relaxing while overlooking the water. The extra cabin was great for a quiet place but yet very close by. All spaces were clean and well maintained. Our family really enjoyed our time at The Eagles Nest!

This was our 2nd year to stay here. This house has something for everyone. Grandsons loved fishing no keepers this time but they loved it anyway, from sun up to sunset they were on the deck fishing. One grandson said everyone needed a swinging chair! We hope to make it a yearly adventure.

This home was even better than the pictures showed. Here is what we loved about it:1.Great location with easy boat and car access to restaurant, boat ramps and town.2.Plenty of room for our boats with boat slips that made getting in and out so easy.3.Fun swimming area with slide, floating island and jumping deck. We had a blast! Also lots of ladders/steps to get out of the water.4.Chairs, tables, rockers, swings everywhere! So many places for us all to hang out.5.Well stocked kitchen cabinets for all our cooking needs.6.Nice bedding and plenty of towels.....we never ran out.7.Screened in porch was so nice and a perfect place for our grandbaby to play and not escape.8.Plenty of parking space9.Loved the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living room. Plenty of space for us all to hang out but still feel like we were all together.10.Hot tub was a nice treat.11.Cabin was cozy. The swinging bedroom doors allowed enough privacy for one family to be in the bedroom and a single person on the daybed in the living room.12.Owner was very helpful and always answered our questions very quickly.13.Neighbors next door were friendly and offered to help if we needed anything.14.We used the cane poles to catch a few perch off the deck and also enjoyed relaxing in all the lounge chairs while watching the boaters pass by.Overall, we had a great experience! Highly recommend!And if you have never been to Caddo Lake, it is an experience you will really enjoy!

Great Place!!!! The house was awesome, perfect for kids. Our kids didn’t want to even go out in the boats they wanted to stay and play at the house. A slide, jump platform, floats and a lily pad! They have plenty of room here for everyone and an extra cabin on the property that you can also rent out. They have multiple boat slips and tires on the post so you can get easily tie off other boats without worrying about them hitting the side. The host was very helpful and answered every question promptly! We will definitely be staying here when we come back!

Family Fun

Perfect location on the bayou. It’s a short walk or boat ride to Big Pines Lodge. Outdoor spots to meet everyone’s needs; sunny deck with slide and jump platform, shaded deck with table, bar and swings, and a screened in porch. The large table inside is perfect for family game nights! I’ve lost count how many times we have stayed here but there are little improvements each year.

The perfect Caddo getaway!

Love the place! It's right down the road from Big Pines Lodge and just a short drive from Shady Glade Cafe. It's on one of the wider parts of Caddo making it easy to swim without being worried about boat traffic. The water is nice and deep, everyone had a blast using the slide and diving! Coming from a local, I'd suggest this house for anyone looking for a vacation or even a stay-cation like we did!

It was ok, was smaller than what the listing showed, and not a kids area like the listing showed. What showed a white and blue house in the kids area ended up being another house you could rent for extra money. Wasn’t what the listing advertised. Other than that the house was nice just smaller than what we wanted.

Beautiful property

Perfect place to spend the weekend (or a week or 2). When it was raining we spent the day on the screened in porch. Would definitely visit again. Nicest property on the river available to rent.

Caddo Lake wonder

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Boys (10, 9, & 6) fished from dock catching and releasing lots of perch. Big screened in porch, hot tub and deck. We had a boat but didn’t dock our boat there. View is just beautiful. Very nice and welcoming, would definitely go back.

House is nice but there were a lot of dead roaches everywhere in the house, every dish we pulled out of the cabinet was dirty as there is no dishwasher. We were only left 3 small trash bags for 8 people for 4 nights there was also trash in one of the cans already,we had to buy more bags.

Lots of space on the water!

We come to Caddo every summer and this is the best house we have found for rent. The large open concept kitchen and living space is perfect for a family gathering and we enjoyed games around the large table. The outdoor decks offer spaces in the sun, shade and a screened porch. Everything was clean and in good working order. Steps to enter the water are convenient for those not wanting to slide or jump off the deck. The host responded quickly to a question we had about how to work the slide pump. Can’t wait to return next year!

My family stayed at this home last summer and loved it! We couldn’t wait to go again this summer! However, the area suffered extreme flooding before we got there. Christina was a great host and was in constant communication with us about the flooding and offered to let us reschedule or cancel. We will definitely be rescheduling!
