Coconut Marketplace is close enough for coffee or a casual meal, while Wailua's waterfall scenery and Kapaa's coastal path invite a little exploring. Tropical landscaping softens the walk between pool and shore. It is a comfortable East Side landing spot for guests who want the beach close and the days uncomplicated.



The Space:

On the top floor of the Maui Building, this 372-square-foot studio opens to a private lanai with partial ocean and garden views. Two beds sleep up to four, and the kitchenette has a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker for simple meals. Air conditioning and a full bath add welcome comfort after time in the sand, pool, or hot tub.



Guest Access:

Guests at Islander on the Beach have access to the shared outdoor pool, hot tub, BBQ grill area, and beach access. The resort grounds provide easy outdoor space to relax between beach outings.



The Neighborhood:

The Maui Building puts the resort's tropical grounds between your lanai and the beach, with Coconut Marketplace close by for breakfast, groceries, and casual dinner. When you want to move a little, the Ke Ala Hele Makalae path is nearby for an oceanfront walk or bike ride. Wailua River and the road toward Opaekaa Falls offer an easy change of scenery, and Kapaa town has more local dining by car. It is a useful East Side home base for a small family or friends who want short, satisfying outings rather than a far-flung drive every day.



Getting Around:

Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.



Other Things to Note:

• Third-floor unit, no elevator.

• This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.

• This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.

• All guests shall abide by Heavenly's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.

• Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

The pool and spa will temporarily be closed from 10/26-11/04 for major repairs.
