Location was great, and a beautiful long beach steps away. Easy base to roam the island. Beach chairs on the balcony were helpful to use, as well as lovely snacks left in the kitchen. Place was very clean but smelled musty and shower curtain smelled moldy. Otherwise, great and easy place. Great value and would highly recommend.

Very clean and well managed condo at the Islander of the Beach. We stayed at other condos in the same complex, but this is best in terms of amenities and facilities. Provided beach towels and beach chairs. Comfy bed and pillows. Special thanks to Vacasa for great communication and help!

Do not stay here!

This is a very nice location, but the pull-out couch had notable mold and mildew on it. After texting Vacasa twice, workers from the resort came, looked at it, took photos, and left, telling me the mattress could not be cleaned but a new mattress would be ordered. I followed up the next day. Vacasa told me workers had cleaned the mattress but had not. They then came with new linens which did nothing to clean the matttress and the Vacasa rep texted that there were no spare mattresses, one would be delivered from Oahu and wouldn’t arrive during our stay. I explained that as an asthmatic it was unacceptable for me to be exposed to mold and mildew for the next five nights but was told nothing could be done. So we were forced to live with the situation and had to leave the balcony door open to air the place out to reduce the smell of mildew. Since the situation would not be fixed, I asked for a partial refund. After chasing them down about this, I was told there would be a partial refund. We received only 118 for exposure to mold and mildew throughout our 7 day stay. So, less than 20 USD a day for our stay. Knviously they didn’t care.

Great spot

Well stocked studio. Comfortable bed, nice efficiency kitchenette, beach chairs/towels/boards/cooler, etc. Great location. Well maintained grounds. Nice pool with a bar. Friendly/helpful staff. Close to lots of beautiful beaches. Easy access to restaurants, groceries, etc. Will be back!

We picked this condo because of its proximity to the beach, which was a short walking distance. The condo was clean but the drain in the tub was slow, the refrigerator was noisy, and the tv was a bit difficult to use (I wish that it were a smart tv so I could’ve signed into an app). Plus, a stove would have been nice. All in all, it was a good stay.

Nice property overall, would stay here again. Incredible views, bed was very comfy. The macadamia nut chocolate and cookies in the room upon arrival was a nice touch. More than one coffee filter for a three day stay would have been good. Wifi didn’t work upon my arrival but a quick text to Vacasa and it was dealt with only 90 minutes later.

Beautiful property and area, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and spacious with a great view. If you're not back by early evening it is difficult to find a parking spot onsite. Would suggest placing some sort of rubber mat under mattress to prevent constant sliding.

Steps from the beach!

We had a very lovely stay at your condo. The location was great...we could explore the whole island. Everything we needed was there, with the exception of tissue. More electrical outlets would be a plus, too. The property is lovely, and the beach is very close. Thanks!

Very nice

I would suggest having another small table just for the coffee maker and toaster as the kitchen counter space is minuscule. It would also be nice to have some kind of a drying rack mounted on the wall because there is just no place to put dishes as you wash them. the bed was very comfortable. We were unable to get the television to work. And the pool is not heated so heads up on that one. Very comfortable place to stay and a nice location. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Great place right on the beach! The room is somewhat dated, and air conditioning was loud, but overall, very good for the price. The property is very nicely landscaped with a lot of security. Good options to eat and shop nearby, although nothing fancy.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

We came to celebrate our anniversary and this place was perfect. Everything was provided for our beach excursions (chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear) and when we returned, there were plenty of pools, spas, bars, restaurants, and shops to explore. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We will return, and recommend to others!!

Great location!

My wife and I stayed here and had a great time. The room was clean and check-in was a breeze. We loved sitting out on the patio every morning having our breakfast. The beach was never over crowded and we were always able to find lounge chairs at any time of day. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, along with shops and a marketplace. We would definitely stay here again. If I had to mention something we didn't like, it would be the size of the kitchenette. There is very little counter space for any food at all, but we worked around that. Also, we could never get the AC as low as we would have liked, but it was still comfortable. All in all we loved it.

Stunning

Our first VRBO experience to Kauai. The condo was great- close to the beach centered on the east shore and close to stores to help us with our stay. It was a great home base to celebrate our daughter and Kauai natives wedding! We were able also explore the entire island and its incredible beauty! We will definitely be back soon to visit our daughters new Ohana!

Not what we expected and if I could get a refund I would. Let me first make you aware there is no elevator and it’s on the 3rd floor. Thank God my husband could carry our luggage up, because I could not. The room itself was not clean. The floor was so gross it made our feet black, yes, our feet were black so we started wearing shoes at all times. The bed is terrible, we did not have one good night of sleep. The sheets had blood stains and some other stains that were weird and just gross. There was no fitted sheet, it was a flat sheet. Which the sheets on the bed were king size on a queen bed but the blanket which i highly doubt had been cleaned was more for a full size bed it was too small. The A/C was like a fan and did not cool the room down. A box fan was in the room too and we had to have it running at all times in the room. Not fun having to listen to a box fan. The coffee pot is tiny and only makes two cups at a time. There was only one accessible outlet to charge phones and watch so we had to unplug the microwave and coffee pot to use that outlet. The decor is outdated and dirty, you could literally see the grime on the faux flowers. I’m pretty sure the shower head is at least 20+ years old. The pool doesn’t open until 9 and typically the only time there was good sun was early early in the morning. This side of the island is the cloudy side so if wanting a beach vacation this is not the resort for you. The bar was only open 3-9. I really wish there had been more honest reviews when we were booking because I would have kept looking for something else. We spent a week in Maui before heading to Kauai at a resort that our room had a full kitchen and was all completely updated and so incredibly nice that was $400 less for the week. This unit is incredibly overpriced for the quality and I’m so disappointed in our stay and absolutely would not return. We also had no communication from the owner aside from the first email with instructions on how to get the key to the unit. Having to deal with an actual key was a pain as well. Anymore you have a key code and can get right in. If I were to say anything good, the hot water lasted long enough for both of us to shower. And the small marketplace in front of the resort was nice. The front desk staff was kind when checking in. Oh and as a side note, everything around the island including shopping and restaurants all close by 8.

Beautiful Complex

We had an amazing time staying at this property, the condo was clean the view was spectacular the pool was nice and the Lava Lava had delicious food! We definitely will come back and recommend to everyone!!
