THINGS TO KNOW
This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.
Second-floor unit, no elevator
Spalling repair will begin on June 23rd, and expected to be completed by August 18th. Construction on the railings, walkways, and stairs will take place between 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Best Location

The location of this condo is unbeatable, perfectly situated for exploring all of Kauai’s must-visit spots. Its proximity to Coconut Marketplace is a huge plus for grabbing a quick bite after a long day. We loved the condo overall—the view was stunning, and it matched the listing exactly. Our only issue was the number of cockroaches we encountered in the condo. While we understand bugs are common in a tropical area, there were more than expected, and we had to deal with them the first few days.

Great location and views, could have used a few things

Location was great, room was clean and in good repair other than the keypad lock, which failed our first day there. It was later replaced, and there was a backup key, so no problem. The Vacasa people were great about helping us with that issue. The property is nice, and it was wonderful to sleep to the sound of the waves. The view was gorgeous, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lanai, that included sturdy furniture and a drying rack for towels. The bed was big, and decently comfortable, and there was plenty of space to put away our clothes.They give you a starter package of supplies, and the rest is on you. Some items that I would expect that weren't there were tissues and beach chairs (we left some behind for the next guest). There were very few trash bags to get started, so we had to buy some (also left behind). Keep in mind, this is a hotel room with fridge and microwave, so you can't really do much in the way of cooking. There is also no dishwasher, so all dishes must be hand washed. The fridge didn't have a freezer, so frozen meals were out of the question. The "kitchen" was mainly for reheating leftovers from restaurants, and eating/drinking directly from the fridge.Overall, we had a great trip, and the location makes this property worth it. I would have preferred one with a stove top and freezer, however.

Convenient location

The grounds were so pretty- lots of plants and flowers! We liked the balcony facing the ocean and easy access to a market, coffee, and restaurants. It was also a nice location to access either the west or north side of the island in a short time.

Just Worn and Outdated

Positives-Check in was a breeze. WIFI in unit. TV in unit, as others have noted a vertical line on the left side of the screen is distracting. Grounds upkeep was done daily. BBQ supplied, but aged. Negatives...old, dated, warn furniture not as pictured 1. A/C did not work when using the controls for the unit. Management team member came over and turned on a power switch which was hidden from sight. Once on the controls did not increase/decrease speed of the fan nor temperature of the A/C. 2. Sliding door, very difficult to open. Sliding screen door did not function at all. off the track, it needs to have all the rollers replaced probable about a $20 FIX. This has been noted by several entries in the log book in the unit. 3. View from the deck of the ocean can only be seen while standing , table on deck is too low and what you see is the deck railing. 4. Kitchen area amenities were adequate but not sure when the last time everything had been removed snd sanitized. Trash can location is right next to the silverware drawer. 5. Lack of outlets in the unit, use of power strips for additional outlets. 6.We had to call multiple times for clean towels to be delivered by the management company. Also we were in the condo for 10 days and no clean sheets provided 7. Bathtub lacks a hand hold and tub bottom was slick. 8.Front door is very difficult to open. Others have noted these same conditions in the journal in the unit for years.

Perfect location feet from the water

This property was beautiful. The landscaping was amazing, the room face the ocean which was only about 30 yards away. We really enjoyed ours stay here. It's a great location in the middle of the eastern coast. It makes it easy to get to the North shore or the South shore as you explore the island.

Very nice property and quiet. Close to a number of restaurants and shops. The only problem was the patio door. It was almost impossible to open so we ended up not locking it during our stay. I did call it into Vacasa. Other then that everything was good.

Excellent Location

Nice stay, very quiet comfortable clean unit & great location. I would have given it an overall five stars. Except, the shower/tub stall drains very very slowly and we were unable to open the sliding glass door to the lanai, door handle latch jammed. But, minor inconvenience. Issues were reported to local contact for repairs. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit., so it didn’t impact us so much. We would return again.

After a long travel we wanted somewhere easy to stay, with a kid who is unsure about literally everything, the beach view with my morning coffee was great and there is a great area for walking a shopping a stones throw away. Cozy spot for the three of us, not sure if you want many more in that space, but just right for us.

3rd Anniversary

We had a wonderful time here , next time perhaps more than 3 days This is somewhere we would love to revisit. We had access to many wonderful things from this terrific place. We loved the location. and the ambiance One item you should address is is the extension cords for bed side lighting. Extension cords are a temporary fix not a permanent one. The bathtub drain did'nt work when we tried it , the lever to raise and lower the plug is somehow disconnected and the stopper does not move as designed.These are easy items to address. The amenities were nice, coffee pot, wifi, entrance code, parking. We look forward to returning. This was our first ever VRBO experience so you have established a very positive starting place.in our hearts experience! We look forward to another visit here. Can not beat!

You can not beat this rental! Best value! Not only is it the ideal location on the island - 10min drive from the airport, central as in 1hr drive north 1hr drive south and you see almost the entire island. But also ideal location within Wailua- right behind the coconut marketplace, walking distance to 10’s of delicious restaurants and nice shops. Many of our excursions left near walking distance of our place so we did not have to rent a car for the entire time. The location of the room itself is also ideal- top floor, nice and quiet corner room, and can not beat the ocean view! Will 100% be staying again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family of 7 adults rented 4 different units here while waiting for another condo in Poipu to open. We were only here for 3 days but we all agreed we would come again and stay longer. This unit #354 was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) but was a corner unit and was very private and had a beautiful view of the water. I had a wonderful sunrise every morning while enjoying my coffee. Went to bed every night with the door open, listening to the waves. We were within steps of the beach, enjoyed sitting in the shade with the provided chairs. Within steps of the pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Went to eat breakfast and dinner at Lava Lava, within steps of the Islander. Had fantastic food, remember to make reservations. Enjoyed one night at the Tiki Bar at the Islander, great place to get to know other vacationers. This unit was stocked with everything you need. No stove or oven but within walking distance of a small market that you can pick up items to microwave.

Easy check in. Space is small but it does the job for laying your head at night for a long day of adventuring. The balcony overlooking the ocean is great. Some cool bars/restaurants within walking distance. Only real issue I had was parking, if you come back later in the evening it was difficult to find a space.
