Country Home - Kalamata Mediterranean Suites & Villas

The Country Home is a luxury 5-star villa consisting of two floors: The ground floor (Linas Home) & the first floor (Tinas Home). Guests can enjoy the mini pool spa (jacuzzi) in the garden of the villa, as well as the two hammams (Steam baths), one per floor, a special luxury wellness for our guests.
All Kalamata Mediterranean Villas have Advanced Central Heating and Cooling Systems, using Heat Pumps and Fan Coils. The room temperature of the villas is, by default, maintained at 22oC in winter and 26oC in summer, in order to achieve ideal thermal comfort for our guests throughout the year.

The Country Home is the old grandmothers home who maintained many bedrooms, to host her children and grandchildren, when they visited her, from all over the world as they grew up and formed their own paths in life. The Country Home consists of two floors: The ground floor (Linas Home) and the first floor (Tinas Home) with two independent entrances.

The ground floor of the villa has four bedrooms, two master bedrooms with a large king-size bed and a private bathroom each, one bedroom with a large king-size bed and one bedroom with two semi-double beds. The additional bathroom of the villa has a hammam (Steam bath), a special luxury of wellness, hygiene and relaxation for our guests.

The kitchen, the dining room and the living room of the villa are an open space. The living room has two large sofa beds, a smart flat-screen TV with Netflix access and a large dining area for 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern top appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and coffee maker.

The ground floor has direct access to the Mediterranean elongated garden, where we find the mini pool spa (jacuzzi) surrounded by an array of plants Eugenia (Eugenia Etna), a lemon, pots and flower beds with all the aromatic plants of Taygetos. There is also a solid wooden table with armchairs where guests can relax and enjoy their morning coffee, afternoon cocktails and meals.

The first floor of the villa has three bedrooms, one master bedroom with a large king-size bed and a private bathroom with hammam, one bedroom with a large king-size bed and one bedroom with a semi-double bed. Between the bedrooms there is an additional bathroom with a spacious shower.

The large comfortable living room, under the sloping roof, is the perfect setting for unforgettable evenings with family or friends. Features a corner sofa bed, a two-seater sofa and a smart flat-screen TV with Netflix access. In the same area we find the large fully equipped kitchen and a large dining room for 8 people.

All bedrooms have modern desks with chairs and free Wi-Fi internet access at very high speeds of up to 100mbps. Heating, cooling and domestic hot water are provided 100% from renewable energy sources. All beds in the villa have very comfortable American Simmons & Sealy mattresses for a unique sleeping experience.

Located between the centre and the beach of Kalamata, the Country Home is a vintage house from a time when Kalamata was full orange and lemon trees, rural neighborhoods and family homes. Scattered across the city, amongst the dense apartment buildings there are still preserved traditional homes with their gardens echoing back to a time where the home extended past the front door into the neighbouring streets. Streets filled with bikes, laughter, family gatherings and unique word to Greek filoxenia.
