Relaxing Kailua-Kona 2 bed/2 bath condo with central AC across street from beach

The comfort of home with this two bedroom, two bathroom condo located in the perfect location for your Kona vacation. The ocean is located directly across the street from the complex. Walking distance to Magic Sands Grill and the Poke Shack! The interior decor provides a relaxing environment and the calmness of Aloha. The condo has central AC and ceiling fans in every room for constant comfort. Wi-Fi is provided and can be used throughout the complex. The kitchen is stocked with items necessary to prepare your meals. The living room has ample seating, a large screen smart TV, and lanai access. The master bedroom contains a king size bed, closet, a smart TV, and lanai access. A bathroom with a shower/tub combination is contained within. The guest bedroom contains a queen size bed and ample closet storage. The guest bathroom also contains a shower/tub combination. A Pack-n-Play and portable booster/high chair available in the condo. All linens and towels are provided. The living room also contains a pull out sofa bed. The lanai is a great place to relax and listen to the sounds of the nearby waves, with a beautiful tropical view. There is only a limited ocean view from the lanai. Four beach chairs, one umbrella, and an ice chest are provided for guest use. One designated parking stall is included, which is located just beneath the condo next to the stairwell. The condo is located on the second floor of the building. There is an elevator to the complex, however (6) steps are still required. The facility has a heated community pool and spa and several BBQ grills. Enjoy the Koi Ponds on the way to the pool, it has beautiful landscaping!

Our family of 4 stayed here on our first trip to Hawaii and it was perfect for our needs. The condo itself is clean and comfortable with a nice lanai on the back side. The beds are comfortable and the living space is exactly what we needed as a home base for our day excursions. It is close to Kona, Walmart, Target, great food, and the Manta Ray excursions. It is not far from great beaches. There are a few small beach parks across the street that are great for catching the sunset. Von is a great host!

This condo is an absolute gem - we will be returning! Great quiet location, pool area is beautiful (it was a larger area than we appreciated from the photos). The owners have everything you could need during your visit, including incredibly comfortable beds and sharp knives (we do a lot of cooking and it is rare to find a rental with decent knives!). The only criticism we could find is that the cleaning/management company stocks the kitchen with Maxwell House coffee, which is unfortunate given the proximity of so many great local coffee growers. Overall it is an amazing place.

Great stay!

Loved our time here. Appreciated having a brita filter, ice in the freezer and A/C to keep the humidity down! Also really enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella when we went to Kua Bay; we should have brought the boogie boards with us! Walked across the street to watch sunsets nearly every night. Da Poke Shack was delicious. Lots of folks running in the mornings along the road. Conveniently located… went to Kona when we needed and also went down to Two Step beach. All in all, an incredible trip for us. This place worked out well for us.

A Very Good Choice For A Relaxing Stay

This end unit was very quiet and relaxing (except for the roosters, but hey, that’s Hawai’i). Everything was as we expected and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The bed mattresses seemed to be fairly new and they were very comfortable. There were an abundance of seating areas to choose from depending on your needs. The pool area was nice and clean and the mellow music was a nice touch. The only negative (but not really) thing is that the rear parking area can become tight if all spaces are full with large vehicles.Communication with our hosts was amazing. They were responsive to questions and very attentive to our needs or requests.

Great location

This is a really nice condo in a smaller apartment complex across from the ocean. The resort has nice amenities and gardens, although the provided parking area at the back of the building is a bit tight. The condo is very private and located at the end of the building with views of the garden. We found everything we needed in this well stocked unit. The lanai had nice seating options outside. The central AC worked quite well too. We really liked the location - it’s a bit out of Kona and not too busy. Owners were great at communicating too.

Beautiful Updated Condo

Awesome condo! Nice complex and loved the pool. Lanai was so nice in the am drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Very private. Beds were so comfy and slept like a baby. Beautifully decorated. Only issue no fault of the owner was the hot tub was broke down. I emailed Von in which he quickly asked the property manager. Tub was fixed but only heated in am and later in pm. Few nights after fixed was cold in the pm. Plan on booking again next year. So nice to have an assigned parking stall. Thank you for sharing your condo with my family.

Great stay!

This condo was the perfect base for our west coast exploration (beaches, historical sites, hiking, snorkeling). Tucked in a quiet complex on the coastal road, it was surrounded by greenery, birds, and ocean sounds. We enjoyed the koi pond, saltwater pool, and ocean views, with distant whales in sight. Walking across the street to watch sunsets from the cove was a highlight—ideal for family photos on the lava rocks. The condo was well-stocked with kitchen, laundry, and beach supplies, and the three beds were comfy for adults. Though we planned to eat out, we mostly cooked at the condo after full days of adventure. The owner quickly addressed a known plumbing issue and made it right. We highly recommend this place and would stay again.

Island Hopping Hit

After spending a week in rentals on other islands, this felt like home with comfortable beds and pillows and real AC. It felt like somewhere where the owners spend a good bit of their free time with higher quality furnishings and was well equipped. The patio was perfect for lounging with morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Convenient location for things in Kona, grocery store, other adventures on the island. Easy communication with owners for checkin and short check out list. If life brings me back this way, I’d stay here again.

This property was great. The rooms were very clean and had everything you would need. I loved that the property was quiet and calm, yet still close to everything we wanted to do. I only spent a short time at the pool but it looked very well kept and clean. The owners were very responsive and the check in process was easy and detailed well. I would stay here again!

Great property and location

This was our first time staying in a Vrbo and it was so much more relaxing for our family. The condo was in the back, away from the street nestled next to a farm. We loved sitting out on the lanai after a day at the beach and just relaxing!! Definitely going to come back again on our next visit.

Great location with everything we needed!

The location could not have been more perfect! So close to downtown, Walmart, and Safeway and just minutes from some of our favorite Big Island beaches. Condo was well equipped with anything we could need and then some! Our host was always so prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend this property!

Another Great Stay on the Big Island

We really enjoyed staying at Von's condo along Ali'i Drive. The location was quiet, but within minutes of downtown Kona. Beach access within easy walking distance. AC is always a plus in the heat and humidity and the pool was very nice and clean. Beds and couch were comfy, and the wrap around lanai facing the "jungle." was wonderful. The condo had all the amenities and more. I'd prefer to give this condo a rating of 1 instead of 5 so I never have to fight with people to reserve it again! ;)

Lovely Lanai

I've stayed in Kona three times now and this was the best. Located right on Ali'i Drive, it is close to all the activities you may want to do there. A small beach right across the street allows you great sunset views. The lanai is gorgeous and looks down on palm trees, birds, and other wildlife as the sun dapples in through the trees each morning. The decor is very well done and comfortable. It was very clean and management was very attentive to make sure we had a nice stay. Thanks so much!
