Aloha and welcome to our custom pool in Kailua-Kona! We have tastefully decorated this casual luxury home for your enjoyment. The large pool and lanai are set up for entertaining during sunny warm days or star-filled nights. This home has space for a large family or multiple families! Centrally located Mauka from the airport in a tropical neighborhood called Kona Palisades, within minutes of all that Kona has to offer! Mahalo for choosing our special piece of paradise.
This cozy, modern, and clean Villa is spacious with everything you need to stay comfortable on the magical Big Island.

✴ The home has three large bedrooms on the first level. The second level is all open space with 2 comfy queen beds and an additional twin bed.

We are available at any time and always respond very quickly.

Quiet - away from all the noise and centrally located, making it the perfect location to stay if you're looking to explore the entire island.

It is safe to take morning walks in the neighborhood. We recommend renting a vehicle to explore the entire beautiful Big Island. There is also Uber, Hele-on Bus, and Kona Trolley.

This Villa is only 15 minutes from the most popular white sand clear blue beaches on the island and from the main tourist strip. We are happy to help you determine what your ultimate vacation experience is! We know all the best beaches, water activities, dining experiences, and shopping. Nature is everywhere with so many diverse experiences. Please keep in mind that we do live in a tropical enviornment and the insects here are attracted to the light and will come inside if the doors are open.

  • #blue 50 Shades of Blue - Manini'owali Beach at Kua Bay, part of Kekaha Kai State Park, is another of the very pretty Hawaii Big Island beaches, with fine white sand that slopes gently to the beautiful clear turquoise water. The swimming here is awesome when the ocean is calm, and there can be some decent snorkeling along the rocky outcroppings at either end of the beach. During certain times of the year, particularly the summer months, the beautiful soft sand covers the entire beach from north to south. More lava rocks become exposed in the winter months as sand is carried out with the surf. Be aware of those rocks in the shallows when boogie boarding or body surfing. This is a good place to have water shoes to navigate across the rocks. Manini'owali Beach is one of the nicer Big Island beaches that is easy to reach from Kailua-Kona. You can practically drive right to the beach, and some days it seems everyone on the Big Island knows it! If you arrive later in the day, parking can be a little crazy, especially on weekends. As you approach the beach you may see cars lined up down the road. You may have to walk down the road a bit but don't worry; there's plenty of room on the beach! There is a rocky shoreline trail at the northern end of the beach that leads to another of our favorite Hawaii beaches, spectacular Kikaua Beach to the north. The trail winds through a lava field and across a coral beach less than a mile to scenic Kikaua Point.

The house served its purpose well. No A/C and the pool being really cold weren’t ideal but overall a good stay. If you have more than one car, just note the driveway is very steep, so elderly should be extra cautious or you’ll have to move cars to allow them to park in the car port

The house was great. Highlights were the large kitchen and bar area and the pool. We also liked the grill and the outdoor TV. I wasn't crazy about how close the house was to neighbors and the other property. I did like how there were beach chairs and a cooler available for use. The house was pretty hot most of the time. It was nice that there were box fans available for use to try to combat the heat a little bit. The top floor loft was convenient in how many people it slept, however the lack of blinds or any type of light blocking made it difficult to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. We had 6 adults and 2 kids for our stay. There was plenty of space for us. The home was clean and stocked with many extras to help with those items we forgot to pack Properly manager Mele was very efficient and quick to respond to any of our concerns. We ran out of propane one morning but it was filled by noon. Needed suggestions for dinner or favorite beaches, Mele was there. I was concerned originally about not having air conditioning but turned out it was not needed. There were plenty of fans and all windows were open to help circulate air. We would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful clean home in quiet neighborhood

We had a lovely vacation staying here. The home was roomy for our family, the kitchen and laundry were nice, and the pool was lovely. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the house because it was so nice to be there. Check-in was very easy. Would definitely recommend this home!

A fabulous time in a fabulous location!

This was the perfect place to take a large family group on vacation. Plenty of rooms and beds, plenty of bathrooms, a large open kitchen with a huge gas range that looks out into the family room, and its own pool! Could not recommend this house enough. The management company was fantastic and responsive, and had even left a “house book” with instructions, possible trips, and area recommendations. We had a wonderful time and this was the perfect spot to do it from!

Misrepresentation of property

Check in process, location, views were represented accordingly. This is NOT a luxury property. Unsanitary with cockroaches in the home, on countertops, on food. Cockroaches were also found outside on sitting and eating area made space uncomfortable and unsanitary to use. We brought to host/property managers attention and we received one night refund on our 15 day stay. Unacceptable ! Bedding is pilled, stained yellow pillows and flat, towels were dingy and grey, It was advertised as paper products included and friendly and informative staff member delivered these once we discussed with management. Pool chairs had cushions in very poor state, stained and again unsanitary. Chairs outside were rusted , paint and rust stuck into customers arm after resting arm on armrest of chair.. Front cushions missing from furniture and unable to sit comfortably and watch sunsets from front deck. Stained beach chairs and coolers found to be in very poor condition and customer had to clean dirty coolers prior to beach use. We were given a noon check out rather than 10 am and cleaners arrived earlier than expected , and discarded food prior to discussing with the family. Polite cleaning staff had mentioned the poor state that this property had been in and that reports had been made several times prior to our use. They said new bedding and towels were being purchased. However our family’s stay was below standard quality.. VRBO is not taking any responsibility.

Wonderful
