  • Summary:

    A spacious lanai changes the pace of a Kona trip. Make it the place for coffee before the house wakes, a card game after the beach, or the quiet end to a day on Ali'i Drive with the Pacific out front. This oceanfront one-bedroom condo sleeps four in two beds and has two baths, a full kitchen, and a private washer and dryer. Ceiling fans and colorful coastal details keep the interior comfortable and relaxed. The shared outdoor pool and hot tub provide another water option, while Magic Sands and Pāhoehoe Beach Parks are about a mile away. This is a genuine oceanfront setting for a small family or two couples who want their outdoor room to do more than hold a chair.



    The Space:

    The spacious private lanai is central to this one-bedroom oceanfront layout, with the Pacific close enough to shape breakfast and the end of the day. Two beds and two baths accommodate up to four guests. Inside, a full kitchen and private washer and dryer are ready for practical longer stays, while ceiling fans and colorful coastal details give the home an easy, relaxed feel.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Kona Bali Kai enjoy access to the shared pool and hot tub, plus an elevator and garage parking. The grounds feature gardens and beach front views, with ocean access and outdoor seating available for guests to enjoy between excursions.



    The Neighborhood:

    Ali'i Drive links this part of Kailua-Kona to beach stops, surf watching, food, and town evenings without losing the ocean from the route. Banyans Beach is close, Magic Sands Beach Park is about a mile away, and Pāhoehoe Beach Park is roughly three-quarters of a mile in the opposite direction. Stop at Da Poke Shack nearby, then follow the coast north for Kona town's harbor, shops, and sunset strolls. Kahalu'u Beach Park is farther south for snorkeling.



    Getting Around:

    A rental car is the easiest way to explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Ali'i Drive connects this area with Kailua-Kona, beach parks, dining, and shops. Check your reservation details for parking information and plan on a car for flexible access to beaches and day trips.

We loved the view from the lanai! We had breakfast every morning there. Beautiful sunsets! The apartment is dated but it has all the essentials for a perfect stay. Well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer. No issues for finding a parking space below the building. Good location, close to Kona center and close to other attractions like snorkeling, manata rays, etc.

The place was everything we needed. Nice patio and nice to have beach equipment. It is a long walk to restaurants and shops from the location if you don’t have a vehicle.

These condos are the perfect location if you want to be right in the ocean. Close enough to Kona but out of the traffic of town. Vacasa is excellent with communication.

Wonderful Place

Not the fanciest place on the island, but exactly what we were expecting. The place was clean and comfortable. Big selling point should be the location!! You can’t get any closer to the beach than this, and the view was astonishing!

Property could use an update, it’s seen better day but the ocean front deck & ocean breezes makes up for it. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was the best! Also, awesome local poke shack on premises. Great surf spot right out front.

Great location & view!

The view from the condo balcony was amazing! Carpet needs replacing and bed is a little hard, but we were not here long enough for that to matter too much! Kitchen is well stocked.
