  • Kuleana # 416 est une unité de coin unique au deuxième étage sur l'océan. En plus de la véranda en bord de mer, il y a une très grande fenêtre coulissante du côté de la cuisine avec vue sur la mer et la vue sur la côte sud en direction de Kaanapali. Ce condo est lumineux et aéré, avec une cuisine complète avec une île, des sols en carrelage frais et de nombreuses améliorations. Il y a un lit king dans la chambre avec A / C et un canapé-lit dans le salon avec une grande télévision à écran plat. Ceci est l'une des rares unités avec sa propre laveuse / sécheuse empilable. Ce condo populaire est disponible pour un maximum de deux personnes seulement. La vue de la véranda est spectaculaire et vous profiterez de l'intimité, de la lumière et des vues de cette unité de coin spéciale tout en admirant les îles lointaines.

    Niché dans une zone de villégiature prisée de West Maui, Kuleana offre une combinaison parfaite d'activités de loisirs et de détente pour vos vacances à Maui. Enjoyed our stay very much! Condo just needs a little updating.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the view off the balcony has a beautiful view of the condo grounds. The condo does need some upgrades to the bathroom and floors.

Great spot, but some minor issues. The view is amazing and the small beach access was great. There seems to have been green and black mold in the bathroom so there definitely needs to be a closer cleaning of the place.

Room was as advertised. Definitely needs a remodel soon, and parking spots are very tiny, and I felt like I had to enter my car through the trunk most days. But property is well maintained and the view in this condo is legit.

Having the opportunity to watch the sea turtles and whales in their natural habitat from your private lanai is an experience that we will never forget. The resort is very quiet and well maintained. As a bonus, having access to a beach where you can easily swim with plenty of sea turtles was fantastic. The unit itself was clean and stocked with everything that we needed (kitchenware, beach gear, etc.). We would denitely stay here again.

The red dust it was all over the condo couldn’t be clean properly because there was no mop Russ to do that and then when the electricity went out because of the fires, we weren’t even able to use the washer and dryer to wash things and we had to keep here windows open in order to breathe because of the heat overall love the Nicely taken care of workers there are unbelievable they should all be recalled rewarded for their kindness. I will always think highly of Juliana. We have stayed there and advertise before this unit was exactly located just the red dust everywhere that much anyone to do about that I suppose.

We only stayed two days in this unit as the other owners unit we were staying in at unit 201 had a double booking, so we were more than happy to relocate for them do to them having a larger party. 201 is a spectacular unit, recently redone and is a two bedroom with loft was very fun. This one bedroom unit 416 that the owner of 201 relocated us too at their expense was lovely as well and had a gorgeous ocean front view. It was also nicely decorated as well. Both places we were thrilled with especially the complex as it was just breathtaking and very maintained. Mahalo to Troy at unit 201 and Destination Maui for letting Troy relocate us into one of their units. Bravo to both for making it an easy transition.

Good for couples but not large geoups

This was our third time at this resort. We had a large group- 6 couples in 6 different units. We were gathering as a reunion. As long as we didn’t gather together on the property itself (including the grassy area, the pool, and the BBQs) or in any of our rooms, we were ok. But when we tried to eat together or visit at night, we were automatically shut down by the security guard, regardless of time of day. We were told we needed to fill out paperwork but nobody from the office returned our calls to do so. The Kuleana is great value and ideal for couples who want a quiet getaway. But not for families or friends traveling together-unless you plan to eat out and stay out at night. Our unit was partially updated-of the 6 rooms our group booked-it was the most outdated. I’m sure once all the work is complete, it will be lovely.

The promise of “coffee starter kit” wasn’t there but did come the next day when I called, along with dinner plates which were absent. Would have been nice to have more than 2 beach towels (unit apparently sleeps 4, so would think there’d be four) but having a washer and dryer in the unit (bonus!) would have remedied the issue if it bothered us too much. Views from deck are outstanding. Side window is excellent allowing light and breeze into the unit. Bathroom could use updating. Overall, amazing place and would go back in a heartbeat.

We love the property which is very beautiful and well maintained. We also love #416 for the views on two sides of the condo. However, the condo appeared to be in need of some TLC and is definitely showing it's wear and tear. Also, we had to buy toilet paper and Kleenex as those that were supplied were cheap and like sandpaper. There was only one spare roll of paper towels in the kitchen and one spare trash bag for the kitchen trash can and half a bottle of dish detergent(very small bottle). Very sparce supplies considering we stayed for 2 weeks and for what is being charged per night.

On the positive side, the view was excellent and the barbecues were very well maintained. Security is excellent. On the negative side, the condo in in desperate need of major updating. The furniture and appliances are old, beat-up and below expectations at this price. The cleanliness was slightly below average (everything felt “greasy”). Bed was adequate. Manager was non responsive about the non-functioning electric blind.

The refrigerator broke so they had to put us in a different unit on our first few nights and then we moved back to our original unit. The fridge was still not working so we had to use an ice chest. Hokulani at the front desk was soooo helpful and professional and awesome - they have a gem with her and I hope they appreciate her!! Over all the unit is really cute and great views. It’s such a magical area and great property. I highly recommend staying here.

Unit was a bit warm during the afternoons due to sun beating, no matter what we tried. AC in bedroom welcome relief. Property kept in excellent shape. Covid restrictions a bit excessive by some of the staff including pool restrictions- 10 people and only 4 lounge' 6 chairs out; but everywhere has limitations currently. No sand/beach made difficult to snorkel. Staff very helpful when needed. Would recommend staying here again; unit location great, but again, gets hot in this unit in afternoon sun, patio chair broken, also beach chair broken; unit needs updating and recommend new dishes that are microwave safe, without chips; blender cover missing center plug also.

Great location for relaxing. Our only complaint was that the room was hot. If there were curtains or a better shade system if would have helped with the afternoon sun . The TV’s weren’t working right, and there were 4 remotes? (Would have been nice to catch the local news) Also a better broom for cleaning up would be helpful. Everything else was fantastic. Turtles were everywhere! Nice people around the property.

Fantastic stay!

Kuleana 416 was a perfect fit for us! The condo is clean and comfortable and the full ocean front deck was amazing! We spent most of our time there enjoying the beautiful view and crashing waves! The grounds are lush and well maintained, the pool is large with plenty of lounge chairs. There was no beach (I assume tides are too high in winter?) but plenty of beaches close by. The location is perfect, central and easy to get to anywhere you want to go. We will definitely be back!!

Unbeatable View!

I absolutely loved my stay in this condo, and the view is so worth it. I spent every morning and afternoon on the lenai, taking in the beautiful view. I took the provided beach chair and watched the sunsets from the small rocky beach area right below the condo, it was like having a private sunset some nights. The pool is great, and there's a BBQ area. I saw turtles and whales from the balcony almost daily! This condo is really quiet, and the grounds are well kept. The folks who work at Kuleana are super helpful. It's a small condo complex, so there's not a ton of people. It's also in great proximity to some amazing beaches for snorkeling, and a short drive to Lahaina. If you're looking to stay on the west side of Maui, this is a perfect location and a perfect condo.

Peaceful paradise

Had a great time! Beautiful setting. Had beach chairs and beach towels. Clean with an amazing view!
