BEAUTIFUL West Maui Rental- AREA NOT AFFECTED BY LAHAINA FIRES & NO resort fees!

Welcome to our AHHMMAAZZING little piece of Maui Paradise! This unit is individually owned, 1st floor unit, direct ocean front walkout property on 13 acres of beautiful oceanfront property at the Papakea Resort! Our Unit #A-105 is located in the First Bldg, the North Bldg A (the ALOHA BLDG) nicely quiet with less foot traffic for a more enjoyable, relaxed, dreamy stay with views of Hawaiian Islands Lanai'i and Molokai'i. The Papakea has 2 LARGE heated swimming pools - each with a spa, cabana & multiple BBQ areas. Enjoy the amazing views from the ocean front lawn or wander thru the Koi ponds. The property offers many activities -lighted tennis/pickle ball courts, 2 shuffleboard courts & 2 putting greens for our visiting Golfers. Unit A-#105 is centrally located in the ALOHA Bldg, on the 1st floor with easy accessibility & quick parking access by use of the North Entry/Exit Gate, as well as, provided handicapped parking. This unit is perfect for handicapped access, people with special needs allowing easy access w/o curbs or stairs to the unit or in the unit. This very spacious, open-air direct ocean front unit has stellar views, amazing circulation & breezes to enjoy. There is AC if needed to take the edge off on those very humid days. The bedroom currently has brand new carpet for comfort & a KING bed dressed in organic sheets & duvet if needed, large dresser, closet with plenty of room & ceiling fan as well as a standup fan for some extra circulation if needed. There are windows along the bedroom wall top to welcome breezes into the bedroom. The bathroom has a large granite counter, toilet and a tiled shower w/luxurious organic cotton towels. There is a W/D in the unit for your use (Detergent/dryer sheets provided). The kitchen is full-size, well lit with a LARGE beautiful granite counter for preparing/eating food & entertaining w/all the kitchen amenities one would need for a short or long stay. Plenty of inside seating offered w/barstools, 4 person dining table, refrigerator w/icemaker, DW, Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker, toaster oven, micro, stove & oven. Enjoy the living roomy living room, TV, WIFI, HS internet. Enjoy just steps from the ocean with stellar views from the lanai for breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour at the table w/2 chairs & a long lounger).

You have arrived and it's time to enjoy your stay on beautiful and rich in history, Maui, and at the Papakea in the newly updated and refreshed Unit A-105.

There are several sandy beaches within walking distance to a 5 to 25 minute drive in either direction. The Westside of Maui is known for it's BIG beautiful beaches. Famed Whaler's Village on Ka'anapali Beach is a short 5-8 minute drive. Beach entry from our unit allows for some great shell finding when the tides are out and entry into the water to snorkel!

There are plenty of FUN shops to checkout and some fun eateries & cafe's as well as a full grocery store-TIMES market. A new NEW food truck court is all just a short walk SOUTH of the complex. Just to the NORTH, a short walk, there is a Fresh Fish Market, Local delis, health food store, BAD ASS Coffee Co. and BOSS FROGS to rent snorkel equipment for your entire stay as well.

There is a BUS route as well that picks up and drops off right by Boss Frogs. It will take you to Whaler's Village, Ka'anapali Beach. Or rent a scooter, an electric bike. UBER and LYFT are options are available as well. There is a rental car place close by if a car is needed for a few days to get around to the other amazing island attractions Maui has to offer. There are SOOO many options available to you right at the resort or just a short walk in either direction!

Once you arrived, you will check in at the Papakea Front office, greeted by friendly staff. Currently, there are NO RESORT FEES at the Papakea, however, they may ask you to leave a credit card for incidentals (court rentals) if needed. A Papakea Resort Welcome packet will be provided for you at this time as well. A GREAT source of Papakea Resort information you need to navigate the property, entry and exit gates, etc.

Beautiful property! We sat on the lawn or patio and watched whales spout in the distance as the sun set ! Completely magic. We also snorkeled right in front of our place. You really couldn't ask for more, particularly at the price point. Really a wonderful experience! Thanks All !!

Perfect ocean front location, great whale watching (in season) and sunset views! Walking distance to restaurants, food truck park and fun beachside stroll to BlackRock. Nothing better than falling asleep and waking up steps away from the water. Can’t wait to return!

This property is a traveler’s delight. You can walk out the sliding doors to the ocean mere steps away. The unit is spotlessly clean and comfortable. I found it was the small things that made it one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. From the wonderfully stocked kitchen, the provided laundry soap, and the conveniently placed power bars for charging electronics, the thoughtfulness of the host shows through. You won’t regret anything about your stay in this condo.

The photos on VRBO are accurate, the ocean and enjoyable beach are steps from the sliding glass door! We were so comfortable and enjoyed this location very much. It could use a larger television but that definitely didn’t take away from our experience.

You open the door to a wall with a small cute mirror. Move to your left 2 feet and you will see a little bit of grass. Very well kept grass. A rock wall. No standing on it. Then OCEAN!!!!! There's an island directly across from you. The view from just walking in the condo was amazing. I dropped my luggage. Ran out the sliding glass door and got my feet wet. After having a 4 hour layover in Honolulu I really needed this! I didn't realize where the bedroom was 20 minutes after walking in the condo. Now the condo. Absolutely adorable! Nice comfy couch. Great for napping. Kitchen is fully equipped with just about everything you would have at home. There were even some spices that we used to BBQ a few steaks. The bedroom is nice size with little slant windows above the bed. We closed them due to a few loud people late at night. Full size closet with lots of hangers for people that like to hang up their clothes. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of pillows. Very soft cotton sheets. The bathroom has a cute but small walk in shower. Don't let the size fool you. The water pressure was unbelievable. Big sink top to put make up, medications, etc on. There was also a hair dryer. There is also a washing machine and dryer. That was very helpful when we got really dirty and had no choice but to wash our clothes. There was already laundry soap and dryer sheets there. Oh..I forgot to mention that there a dishwasher in the kitchen. I wish I could post pictures because a picture is worth a million words which anyone that has stayed here would agree. There's a grocery store across the street. I suggest bringing recycled bags to carry your groceries in. Plastic bags are banned from maui. So if you walked you have to carry big paper bags. There were very few negative things but it had nothing to do with the condo itself. Parking can be a challenge at times. Especially on Friday and Saturday nights. People getting on the elevator which is across from the condos front door can be somewhat disrespect when getting back from an area bar. Just close the windows and you won't hear them. The property manager Amy is a total sweetheart. Very understanding and knowledgeable about the area and can answer just about any questions you might have. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this condo an absolute solid 10! Wait till you see the sunsets!!!! The next time we travel to Maui I am going to do everything to get this specific condo again. Cant wait to go again!!!! Aloha!

We had a Lovely stay at this wonderful condo. The bed was super comfortable, the fans provided cooling breezes. The kitchen was well appointed. Loved the style of cabinets & backsplash! Breakfasts on the patio were a highlight of the day. The view of the ocean and sunsets were unparalleled!!! Do not hesitate to book your stay here.

This is our second stay at this particular condo and we love the location--right on the ocean. Beautiful views, and the sound of the ocean is mesmerizing (as is the view!). The unit is adequate, but needing some updates and furniture improvements. The TV is barely viewable as it is very small --I would suggest the owner invest in some upgrades. But it was clean and well supplied with basics. The king size bed was firm and comfortable. The property manager was very accesssible and promptly fulfilled my minor requests. The only real downside was the proximity of the unit to the elevator located just outside the bedroom. Last year when we stayed in this condo it was very peaceful and quiet--perhaps due to fewer people travelling due to the pandemic. This year was party central, or so it seemed. The groups gathering at the elevator until nearly midnight (we hit the hay early) were obnoxiously loud and disrespectful of adjacent condo units. This is something difficult to regulate but something to be aware of if you are early to bed types. After midnight it was fine. The property is beautiful and well maintained with two swimming pools, loungers, bbq grills, etc. The property also has tennis courts and pickle ball courts, a putting green, and shuffleboard. We will be returning next year but in a different condo.

The unit is lovely and clean with a comfortable bed, high pressure shower and a view you can’t beat. The property and pool were also clean and pretty. The property manager, Amy, was very responsive and easy to work with. The check in process was the only issue we had: we arrived at 8pm but the front desk was closed so we “checked in” with the security guard and had to return in the morning to officially check in. During that process, they forgot a couple steps, so had to go back a third time to fix that. Beyond that annoyance, we had a very lovely stay and would recommend to others.

We had the best stay! It was right on the water and beaches nearby. It was so relaxing to sit on the lanai or grassy area and just look out at the ocean and watch the whales in the morning and listen to the waves at night. Amazing stars. Holy cow. Great location-Walking distance to Duke's Beach house and ABC store right down the road. Lahaina is just 15 minutes away. Also the laundry machines were a huge help.
