WE HAVE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING! Most homes in JT only have Swamp Coolers and that won't get the job done in the hot desert!

Set on a 2.5+ acre parcel dotted with over 50 unique Joshua trees and surrounded by iconic boulders, it's the perfect desert escape.

Book your next exciting getaway holiday trip and experience the pure bliss of isolation here where the majestic Mojave Desert meets the arid Colorado Desert! Our massive 2,091 square foot property is perfect for couples or solo travelers and can comfortably accommodate up to 2 people. High on hillside - Panoramic views of Joshua Tree National Park – Over 50 unique Joshua trees on site and boulders, boulders, boulders nearby. Large 2.5+ acre parcel, partially fenced, and sparkling clean, nicely maintained and recently renovated home with tons of indoor and outdoor hang-out space. You will have access to the primary bedroom and 3 bathrooms, which spread out in the indoor living space, including a large living room, dining room, kitchen and den. The master bedroom and en suite bath are very spacious with private access to its own outdoor space.

Come inside and take in the modern, chic style vibes of our glamorous open concept living room and kitchen area, with plenty of double pane windows bringing in generous light to the space. Take the comfort level up a notch and slip into the spacious living room area, where your friends and family can partake in fun indoor board and video games or watch your favorite movies on our large 65-inch smart TV! Additionally, light up the cozy indoor fireplace to induce that snug feeling while relaxing with friends and family. As you walk down the hall, you will be greeted with our spacious kitchen, featuring beautiful overhead cabinetry, sleek granite countertops, a full size-refrigerator, and a dishwasher. If you decide to dine in and fire up your culinary talents, have peace of mind knowing that a suite of high-quality tools and stainless-steel appliances are at your disposal. This includes cookware, dishes & utensils, oven, microwave, stove, and a coffee section and coffee machine to start your day off with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Pick your unique coffee mug!

Covered front and rear porches for additional indoor/outdoor living space with a newly constructed outdoor bar and deck. Views of boulder mountains from the back porch; views of the entire basin and dry-lakebed below from the front porch; views of amazing sunrise over the mountains from the side porch. Stargazing from Everywhere, but especially from the newly built Villa Estrella (Star Village)!

Fireplace (not operable at this time) in the living room and wood-stove in the den for intimate, cozy heating. (Central Heat as well). Fantastic setting with a remote feel, yet very close to paved roads and town. Tucked up against deep wilderness boarding the Joshua Tree National Park out the back door. Considering the views, the multitude of Joshua Trees and boulders nearby, you pretty much have your own National Park all to yourself.

Everything you love and want in Joshua Tree! You ALMOST wouldn't need to go inside the park at all!

After a day of adventure, rest-assured you will fall asleep comfortably in our PRIMARY BEDROOM, consisting of high-quality linens, soft fluffy pillows and shades minimizing any outside distractions. At days end, take a refreshing bath or shower in the sparkling clean bathrooms, fully equipped with towels and toiletries for your convenience.

✓ Pets Allowed: Bring along your furry companion with you for a small additional charge for the entire stay. Have peace of mind to let them run with TWO separate fenced in areas. (Beware of Coyotes at night.) Up to three allowed for a flat $150 fee.

✓EV Charger on Site. The EV Charger is a NEMA 14-50 Commercial / Industrial Grade U.L. Approved 50 AMP 240V Receptacle and is located outside on the North-West Corner of the House. You will need your own adapter. For my Tesla, I use a Gen 2 NEMA Adapter / 14-50 / $45 bucks that I purchased direct from the Tesla website.

** Filming and Photography -- Contact us directly, this isn't a booking done through Airbnb. Please be ready to provide commercial production insurance with The Way Out Ranch specified as one of the insured; shoot time and duration; equipment list; vehicle list...etc. There is more entailed to allowing you to use the property for production than can be encompassed within Airbnb. We'd arrange payment via Airbnb but all the details and special accommodations of a location booking would be arranged mostly outside Airbnb. Our location rates vary depending on project and needs.**


The Way Out Ranch is equipped with systems to help keep guests comfortable and secure. We have outdoor security cameras to monitor exterior areas around including the driveway, front doorbell, patio area, and hang out area in the back.

We have adopted new cleaning protocols according to the CDC guidelines in response to Covid-19. You can see the checklist and details of the new cleaning guidelines we are practicing on Airbnb's cleaning section.

Plenty of parking! Feel free to park in the yard or the driveway. If parking on the stone driveway it is best to drive up SLOW.

Wi-fi signal is extremely Strong! Top of the line!

Cell phone reception works from all carriers.

Both things are often major issues at other guest homes in the area. Please let me know if you ever have have any issues!

Help yourself to coffee and the basic oils, spices, and condiments. There is a Weber BBQ outside and a fire starter for the barbecue on the back porch area. We recommend stocking up on groceries in Yucca Valley, 7 miles to the west. But if you need to do a smaller grocery run, Sam's Market or Joshua Tree Health Food are two places in Joshua Tree (5 minutes away).

PLEASE RESPECT OUR NEIGHBORS...KEEP NOISE DOWN AFTER 10 PM.
When driving on unpaved roads in the neighborhood, please keep speeds below 15 mph and watch for wildlife — snakes, rabbits, and most importantly tortoises!

TOILET: Joshua Tree is on a septic system so please do not put anything down the toilet except toilet paper. This is very important as if anything else is flushed it will cause a sewer backup in the house. There will be a $150 charge if a plumber is called out to snake the line.
