The Space:

Overlook JT is a remodeled three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch home with bohemian styling, set on a hill on 1.8 acres bordering Joshua Tree National Park. Sunlit interiors include two living rooms, and the views take in Joshua trees and open desert sky. Outside are an in-ground pool and hot tub on a wooden deck, a gas fire pit, a dining table under bistro lights, a hammock and cornhole. It suits families and groups of friends of up to six.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The in-ground pool and hot tub are surrounded by a wooden deck with pouf loungers and seating areas. There is also a gas fire pit, a gas BBQ, a large dining table under bistro lights, a hammock and cornhole. The property backs directly onto Joshua Tree National Park, so you can set off on trails right from the door, and clear skies make for good stargazing at night.



-Living Area-

The main living room has an electric Malm fireplace, a large TV and comfortable seating for movie nights. The second living area has a record player, a telescope for stargazing and large windows. Board games and books are on hand.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen has all appliances, cookware, spices, olive oil and utensils, plus a drip coffee machine and French press, with coffee, sugar, creamer and a variety of tea provided. Eat at the indoor dining table or outside under the bistro lights.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom has a king bed, a sectional sitting area, a desk and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a smart TV. The third bedroom is a bunk room with a desk. Both bathrooms have shower-tub combinations.



-Surrounding Area-

Overlook JT backs onto Joshua Tree National Park, with trails and wildlife right outside. The West Entrance is about 10 minutes by car, and downtown Joshua Tree's shops, restaurants and art scene are about 8 minutes away. The Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum is about 17 minutes away and the Transmission sculpture by Daniel Popper about 20 minutes.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Overlook JT is in a remote location, and the last 1 mile to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.



Please make sure to follow our directions to the house, as GPS may take you on roads that are not maintained.
