Bonair is Located in “Hidden River”, a secluded area of Joshua Tree, known for its cozy and tranquil lifestyle. While the neighborhood is considered rural, the house is a scenic drive away from local markets, restaurants, coffee shops, Downtown JT and West Entrance to JT National Park.

✔ 9.5 miles (~13 mins) to Walmart Supercenter and Stater Bros. Markets in Yucca Valley
✔ 9.4 miles (~13 mins ) to local and fast-food restaurants (for late night snacks).
✔ 5.1 miles (~8 mins) to Downtown JT; local favorites include Joshua Tree Coffee Company, Crossroads Café, Crossroads Café and much more.
✔ 10.4 miles (~15 mins) to West Entrance to JT National Park.
Guest access
✔ Access to the House:
Pass code will be provided to a smart lock 24 hours prior to arrival. Guests are free to use the entire house, with the exceptions of side gate (left of the garage) and hallway closet (used for cleaning supplies). Both areas are locked.
Other things to note
✔ Pool:
Pool service/cleaning is between 8am - 2pm every Friday. Please don’t be alarmed if you see cleaners cleaning the pool at this time. Service time is about 30 mins.

✔ Pool Heating (Additional Cost $150/Day; set at 86°F.)

We would love to provide pool heating to all our guests, however due to the tremendous energy cost, pool heating will be available for an additional fee. The pool heater is not meant to heat the pool to hot tubs temperature level, but rather to set pool temperature for comfortable swimming. The ideal temperature for a swimming pool is around 78°F to 82°F (per google). Without the pool heater, the pool temperature is in the 60-70’s °F and may feel colder with high winds.

Please inform us 24-48 hours in advance if you would like to add on this feature. It takes that long to heat up the pool to the desired temperature of 86°F.

Please note: Pool heating isn’t available during colder months, when night time temperatures fall below 60°F.

✔ Hot Tub: Feel free to use the hot tub, there are no additional fee to use, however, please avoid adding any soap, bubbles, or bath products—these can damage the system and may result in extra repair charges. As always, practice safety with entering and exiting the hot tub.

✔ Wildlife:
The house is located on a 2.2-acre land, much of which is not developed. There are insects, birds, and other desert wildlife on the property. The house is fenced off; however, the wildlife does roam around. Bugs, rodents, snakes, scorpions etc are common in the desert. Please make sure to keep all doors and windows shut and close them immediately after entering to ensure you aren’t letting flies or other critters inside.
