Camp Joshua is a 40 acre, 5 bedroom private campground with more space, privacy, & activities than any home on the doorstep of national park. Fully stocked casita, & RV hook ups make it the ideal retreat for large groups looking to experience the desert together, but with a level of privacy. Explore this modern throwback escape over a round disc golf or simply take in the stunning desert & mountain views from the polo field sculpture garden…

The space
So much to do and so close to every adventure. The entire campground is 100% fenced and gated for your privacy and security. Bring your RV, your dog, your family and or any OHV that isn't loud enough to bother the neighbors. See below for more details.

Highlights Include:

-Main house is 3 bed/3 bath/ with kitchen, dining, living room with TV & laundry.
-The casita has 2 additional bedrooms, bath, living area with TV & kitchen.
-Kitchens are equipped with cooking, baking and entertaining tools.
-Propane BBQ grill with large indoor & outdoor dining areas.
-New 8 seat Jacuzzi hot tub with additional lounge area.
-Relax in the hammock circle or by the propane fire pit.
-RV water & power hook ups.
-40 fenced in acres to explore by foot, bicycle or QUIET OHV. Max of 5 on property. (we are not responsible for injury or damages caused to your OHV)
-Parachute towels & linens. Public Good's natural body products.
-High speed broadband internet throughout camp.
-Pet friendly and fully fenced backyard.

We are hospitality driven and prioritize helping our guests engage with the culture, landscape, and serenity of Joshua Tree National Park and the surrounding areas.

THE SPACE:
There is a sense of timelessness that lingers in the fresh air here, with Camp Joshua giving you a throwback to a better time. To the time you played like a kid all day and indulged like a grown up at night, where you never feel the weigh of the world on your shoulders. This stylish compound was designed with privacy in mind and can accommodate up to 14 guests. The main house is a spacious three bedroom, three bathroom residence. The "Boys Cabin" casita, just beyond the hot, has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Both spaces have living and kitchen space, are modern and stylish with endless views of mountains and the National Park just beyond the 40 acres.

MAIN HOUSE:
-Primary bedroom with King, ensuite bathroom, smart TV and patio
-Bedroom 2 & 3 both have a queen size bed and share a bathroom.
-Additional full bathroom adjacent to laundry area.

BOYS CABIN (CASITA)
-2 bedrooms with closets, one king and one queen sized bed.
-Shared bathroom
-Access only provided to groups larger than 4

KITCHEN & DINING
The beautiful modern kitchens at Camp Joshua are fully equipped for any desert-inspired culinary endeavor. The kitchen offers stunning views. In the main house, the breakfast bar sits four and there is ample dining space inside and outside.

-Cabinets stocked with complete set of cookware, dinnerware & drinkware.
-Premium baking sheets, pots, pans, plates & platters
-Microwave, gas stove, toaster, blender & dishwasher in main house.
-salt, pepper, sugar and a few spices provided.
-Locally roasted Wonder Lake coffee, drip and French press coffee makers in both spaces.

ENTERTAINMENT & LIVING AREAS
Communal space is provided in an open plan configuration comprising the kitchen and living room in each house. A large concrete patio provides additional entertaining spaces next to each home with views of the campground.
-Unique artwork and vintage camp gear displayed throughout the common areas.
-Music player in the main house living area with a collection of books & games.
-Smart TV in living room of both houses.

OUTDOOR
The outdoor activity spaces are endless and bound only by your imagination and the fence surrounding Camp Joshua's 40 acres. Here you might sweat in the California heat, but you won't sweat the small things that beat you up back in the real world. This home hosted many polo games and horses throughout the years. Now these spaces are transformed into a playground for groups of friends or families. Dogs can run free while you enjoy the peace and serenity of this amazing desert parcel.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the home or the area in general or you want to bring your OHV with you. They are allowed on this property, but not around it. Also, not if they disturb the neighbors or make a lot of noise. Please contact us for more details, comments, questions or concerns.
Guest access
You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Access to the casita is only for groups 4 in order to keep cleaning costs low for everyone. Only registered guests are allowed, unless agreed upon during booking process. There is a lot of room for parking, an RV and the entire camp is 100% fenced and gated for your privacy and security.

While we encourage taking walks on the property and in the National Park, please do not wander into our neighbor's backyards in the surrounding area as you will be trespassing on private property.

We have a pool being built on the property so thank you in advance for understanding the construction and workers. They are very polite and will do their best to not interrupt or interfere with your stay if they are there during your stay! We do appreciate your understanding at this time on this matter! Thank you!
Other things to note
EVENTS & COMMERICAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.

DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs.

CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading VOIP program.

ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel car is not required, but note that roads often have ruts, particularly after a rain.
