While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not. Please note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

✹ PROFESSIONAL CLEANING: Every Homestead Modern home is professionally cleaned between stays by experienced independent cleaning teams. After cleaning, each home is inspected by a member of our own local staff before the next guest arrives, providing an additional level of quality control and helping ensure the home is clean, prepared, and guest-ready.

✹ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling Wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

✹ ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four-wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

✹ CLEANING PROTOCOLS: As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us), and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.
