Nearby, the in-ground hot tub offers a place to unwind, while the transparent dome, furnished with soft seating and cushions, creates a cozy spot to lounge while still enjoying the surrounding desert scenery.



When the afternoon light begins to fade, settle into the cushioned seating around the propane fire pit or prepare dinner on the BBQ. The outdoor movie setup turns the side of the house into a cinema screen, with the oversized stargazing net offering a particularly fun place to stretch out for a film. Afterward, the open desert sky provides the evening's final show.

The comfortable sofa and smart TV make movie nights indoors just as appealing as those outside. A decorative vintage-style stove set against a textured stone hearth adds character, while a collection of records, books, and board games encourages a little time away from your usual routine.



The living area flows naturally into the kitchen, keeping everyone connected whether they're relaxing on the sofa, choosing the next album, or preparing something to eat.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.

Avira is in North Joshua Tree's Sunfair Heights neighborhood, about 20 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy. The last 2.5 miles to the home are dirt roads.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Avira is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.
