« We booked the cabin for my family of 5 for Thanksgiving! We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed! The host was so awesome. Great communication and even surprised us with some Thanksgiving decorations to make our stay fun! The cabin was very clean and just as described. The views were amazing. While remote and off the beaten path, there are two wineries close and you are an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. We had a great time and will be back to enjoy...

« I would have been nice to know the driveway was on a 45 degree angle. I have a wheelchair lift on the back of my car and was not able to access the drive way due to the clearance. Also the yard has not been mowed it a long time. »

« Came with my childhood friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays. It was the perfect little getaway, but was only about 45 min away from home for most of us. We enjoyed this clean cozy cabin, sipping coffee on the porch, soaking up the sun on the dock with our cold drinks and snacks, and s’mores by the fire. Bit of a hike back up from the dock, but it was good for us! »

« The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was...

« The Red Roof cabin was perfect for our group. It is relatively close to Roan mountain (a beautiful hike), and close to Burnsville where we spent an afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch taking in the beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is well stocked (kitchen, bathrooms and living areas easily accommodated the five of us. Note for those who like a cold beer after a hike, the cabin is in a dry county! »

« We stayed for 8 days and really enjoyed the house had everything we needed. Had our dogs and they loved the back yard. The location was central for our needs. Felt like home i will definitely be booking again for my next visit. »

« We really enjoyed the Red Door Cottage. It was a quick 3 night stay, but the house was very clean, cutely decorated, and comfortable. Our host was a little slow in getting us check in instructions. But I was able to contact the VRBO help center and the host called right away. I was given incorrect WiFi password information, but that was no big deal. We hope to stay there again on return trips to Kingsport. I can recommend this property to family and friends who might travel there! »
