Guest Access:
PARKING TIPS: The Downtown Parking Square is a free parking lot next to our place. Guests are usually able to find a spot from morning till late afternoon, but right across W. St of Franklin Rd is a big lot that has options pretty much any time of day or night. This apartment does not come with a designated parking spot, as all parking is first-come-first-serve. Our place is a short walk from any of the downtown lots. The keypad on our doors makes it super convenient to come and go as you please while you explore the city.

This loft is right above the Downtown Square Parking lot where there is free parking, but don't wait until too late, it can fill up.

The Neighborhood:
Our place is right in the heart of Downtown JC. It's super walkable and is the perfect starting point for whatever you'd like to get into. Restaurants, parks, bakeries, cafes, shops, breweries, entertainment, are all within a block or two of your home-away-from-home. You'll definitely feel like you're in the middle of the action, but of course, that also means you might hear some noise from trains and nightlife. We think it's just part of the vibe and embrace it! There is a local Italian restaurant right below this apartment and a local boutique grocery store right across the street!

Getting Around:
Effortlessly traverse downtown Johnson City and its surroundings by strolling through local attractions and relying on the city's pedestrian-friendly infrastructure. For longer distances, opt for the convenience and flexibility of a car, making it easy to explore the area at your own pace. Our guests can walk to some of the best restaurants in the region and Pierre's Marketplace (Local Grocery Store) is right across the street! Walk to parks, breweries, shops, restaurants, and more!

Overwhelming odor – should not be rented

Upon arrival, we had some difficulty locating the building, as well as the doors for the three access codes. The door on the street was open, so didn’t realize it needed a code took us a moment to figure That out. Upon entering the second door of the hallway to the building, there were several air fresheners and dehumidifiers in the hallway. Once we got in the unit itself, there were several dehumidifier/air, cleaners, and air deodorizers.. After a few hours in the unit, we started noticing an offensive odor, next morning we woke up. The whole unit smelled like some sort of chemical odor.. I reached out to the property owner and was told that they were aware of the odor and they were working on it. No solution was provided. We left for the day came back that afternoon and as soon as you open the door, the odor overwhelmed us. We could actually not stay in the unit, dressed for dinner and left came back opened all the windows and Advised the owner that we may have to leave. We did end up leaving early because the odor was so offensive, turns out that there was a leak in the building and the odor is coming from the moisture. In my opinion, this place should not be allowed to be rented. I’m sure it was infested with mold and which would explain why my husband I got sick.
