The host is great at communications, and accommodated us with an early check-in. The small streets of this neighborhood are quiet and well cared for, and the machiya is very close to Kenroku-en Garden. Other areas are a short walk away. We very much appreciated being able to stay here. »

« Ben was a helpful and communicative host. There are three bedrooms with an additional tatami room that could (possibly) accommodate more. It comfortably slept our party of 5. The kitchen was large and functional with a spacious dining/family room. The property had two toilets and two shower rooms which made it easy for a large group to get up and going in the morning. Ikebukuro was an awesome area. There are multiple konbini around the corner from the house along with a more stocked grocery...
