« My brother and I made this reservation to honor our father who passed away in in 2021. The cabin was perfect because of his love for the outdoors including its location nestled in a quiet cove. The cabin is definitely rustic. It had everything we needed including a beautiful view, and peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of firewood and the necessities for those who enjoy simplicity. « We had a long overdue trip with our entire family and this was the perfect setting. The kids could fish at anytime on the beautiful dock and we enjoyed the night by the fire. « Nice condo in a small develoment on the water, close proximity to Chautauqua Institution. Kitchen had nice supply of dishes, pots and pans, and a variety of spices and a few condiments which was very helpful. Beds were comfortable with decent bedding. Relatively clean. While there are beds to accommodate 8 people, the gathering spaces are really meant for 6 - there are 6 chairs for the dining table, 6 chairs for the patio furniture, and there is one couch and two arm chairs in the living room....

« The house on the lake was a perfect fit for our family who was in town for a wedding. There were plenty of beds for the 10 of us (ranging in age from 3-55!). Karen provided everything we could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, towels, etc. She was so generous providing water, gatorade, and freezie pops for the kiddos and firewood for a campfire. « I reserved this place for the solar eclipse weekend months before. There were no reviews yet as it was a new listing, but I took a risk. I reached out to owner after reservation never heard anything. About a month out, I double checked to make sure I had a reservation since I hadn’t heard anything, and I did. « We had a great time on our first trip to Lake Chautauqua. This property came with several kayaks of varying size; kids could fish in the creek or off the dock; great size yard for Cornhole, spike ball, and more. My husband loved the dock for his fishing boat. Lots of extras provided: charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, games, life jackets, seasonings, foil, plastic baggies, extra toilet paper and paper towels.
