Welcome to lake life @Sunset Ridge! This spacious 3-STORY brick house has panoramic views from all 3 LAKESIDE DECKS! This beautiful home easily accommodates 16 of your favorite people.

Setting atop LAKE CUMBERLAND, KY this house is located next to 2 of Lake Cumberland's marinas. A 10 MINUTE drive by road to JAMESTOWN Marina, and Lakers Tap & Grill, live music, boat rentals, fuel and a grocery store. Located 5 minutes across the water is Lake Cumberland State Dock. 5 MINUTES to town and a 10 MINUTE drive to LILY CREEK Boat Ramp.

Sunset Ridge provides quick and easy access to LAKE CUMBERLAND and local hiking and fishing spots. This home includes an open layout with lovely tiger wood floors & family-friendly comfort. Large windows provide lake views and natural lighting.

The upper-level MASTER SUITE #1 includes a king-sized bed (sleeps 2). The attached full bathroom includes a shower and spa tub. A PRIVATE BALCONY with panoramic views is located off of the master suite.

2 additional guest bedrooms #2 and #3 are located on the upper level: 1 KING bed (sleeps 2) and 1 QUEEN bed (sleeps 2). A 2nd full bathroom is located on this level with a combination shower/tub.

If climbing stairs is difficult, the entrance-level guest bedroom #4 has yet another QUEEN bed (sleeps 2). A half bathroom is located on this level. A 2nd large, GRILL DECK with panoramic views and a Weber GAS GRILL is located off of the kitchen.

The FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN allows for home cooking with all major appliances, cookware, dishes & utensils. The connected dining space includes an 8 FOOT TABLE that can seat 10 or more people. The breakfast bar provides additional seating.

The lower-level has sleeping space #5 with 1 QUEEN bed (sleeps 2) and 3 sets of BUNK BEDS (sleeps 6). A full bathroom located on the lower-level includes a shower. The third impressive DECK with amazing views is located on the lower-level.

Located on the banks of Lake Cumberland...bring your boat, your family, and your friends for an amazing week of boating, fishing, hiking, golfing or just relaxing at the edge of Lake Cumberland...while sipping your favorite beverage.

There is parking for 6 vehicles at Sunset Ridge. If additional parking spots are needed, you may use the free lot at Jamestown Marina. There is no access to the inside of the garage. No boat turn around.

Due to the steep and rocky shoreline there is no direct lake access from the house.
*I take my cleaning practices seriously and follow the guidelines of POSI (Prevention of the Spread of Infection) which includes Covid. If you have questions regarding these practices please let me know.

We loved the view! Everything was very clean, and it had enough beds for us. I liked the bunk bed option in the basement; it was perfect for our group! The kitchen was great and had everything I needed. The appliances were also wonderful; in great condition and were very helpful.

The views were excellent! Sleeping arrangements were good, except for the bedroom on the main level. It did not have a closet, so no one wanted that bedroom. Our stay was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time together. This was a five sibling vacation.

Family getaway

Beautiful view, saw eagles flying around everyday. Too hot for fishing but enjoyed the boat ride. No beaches but there is a community pool. My children and grandchildren had a wonderful time and are planning our next trip. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would recommend to family and friends.

Perfect!

We wanted a place to relax at the end of our holiday and this place was absolutely perfect. The view from the balcony was superb and it was very special to see the big birds soaring over the lake and trees. In the evening we enjoyed the bbq and watching fireflies whilst sat around the fire pit. The house was extremely comfortable and all communication with Suzanne was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return one day.

Awesome Lake Getaway

The property was gorgeous inside and out! The view of the lake from three decks was spectacular. There were plenty of beds! We had the four private bedrooms occupied and on the bottom floor was a room with 4 sets of bunks and a full size bed. One bedroom was on the main floor which was wonderful for one of our guests whom has a hard time with stairs. There was one half bath off the kitchen area and three full baths, so no one fought over when to take showers.The kitchen was equipped with everything you may need in a kitchen. We loved the griddle for making breakfast. The grill out on the main deck also served us quite well!There was plenty of seating for eating in and outside. We were out on the lake most of the day, but there were also two large sitting areas, one on the main floor and one on the lower floor. The washer and dryer were also on the lower floor.It was so dark over the lake at night, that we could see many constellations and the stars were so bright! The Jamestown Marina was a few minutes away and we had one of our family members who live close to the State Dock, boat over to pick us up at the marina to head out on the lake within minutes. Next time we plan on bringing more family/friends.

Thank you for sharing your home! The view was amazing. The outside deck boards had a curve and that kind of had a few of our gang worried to enjoy the outside space but it just needed getting used to because they really were sturdy. The house was clean and well equipped. We cooked all our meals and were happy to see the stainless steel cookware instaed of the usual (often scratched) teflon. Loved the long kitchen table. Plenty of space for our crew of 11. Saw a deer and the humingbirds have arrived :). The house is positioned so there really isnt room for play but the kids enjoyed the nearby playground. We a storm one nite that cut the electric but it came back soon after and we appreciated the flashlite plug ins that came on automatically.The host was quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed our stay- thank you! LD

Fishing trip

What a fishing trip we had. It was the perfect place to stay the only thing they are no place to park boats. If you have family and just want to get away this is where I would go. The view is beautiful and the home was a dream home. They are numbers to call if you need anything at all which we never had to call. Town is just a few miles away and never seen the neighbors at all. We appreciate everything they had for us beer never had to supply any of it beside food. Great stay.
