« The room was cold with a small but capable electric radiator called upon to warm up a room with single-glazed windows. The breakfast was mostly store-bought items warmed up, except the toast and eggs and mushrooms which were nice. The orange juice was lower quality; another thought the coffee was instant. « Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost. »
