This contemporary 3BR/3BA ranch-style home in Isle of Palms is a sure bet for your fun-packed coastal getaway! Located a short walk from the beach and an easy ride to great restaurants, nightlife, and local shops.

Highlights include an upgraded kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a sprawling backyard with a deck for alfresco dining. An outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after hitting sun-soaked beach days.

LIVING AREA

Exposed brick walls and light wood floors create a contemporary vibe in the welcoming living area, furnished with an armchair, rocking chair, and two stylish sofas (one of which is a queen sleeper). In the evenings, make some popcorn and watch a movie on the 50” TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Large windows flood the beautifully upgraded kitchen with natural light. This upscale cooking space sparkles with black granite countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. While dinner simmers, enjoy drinks at the breakfast bar with seating for two.

Nearby, a dining area with coastal-themed artwork seats six.

BED & BATH

Comfort awaits in a serene master bedroom, appointed with a king bed, 48” TV, and walk-in closet. An en-suite bath has a walk-in shower.

The colorful second bedroom features a pair of twin-over-twin bunk beds and a TV.

A charming third bedroom offers a full-size bed and 42” TV.

There are two guest baths, one with a walk-in shower and another with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Enjoy family gatherings in the backyard. There’s plenty of space for the kids to play, and a raised deck lets you dine alfresco at a patio table. Make use of the gas grill and enjoy an afternoon cookout.

After a great day at the beach, rinse off at the outdoor shower.

Head 13.5 miles to enjoy the old-world charm of Charleston's Historic Downtown. Fabulous restaurants, local museums, period architecture, and a host of historic sights await.

For a day beside the ocean, walk 0.8 miles to Isle of Palms County Park — offering beach access, grilling areas, and a sand volleyball court. Golf lovers can hit the fairways at Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course (3.2 miles).

History buffs will enjoy exploring Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens (7 miles). It’s one of the oldest working plantations in America, and there are several tours that showcase the history of Charleston and the owners of this beautiful estate.

The house was in an absolutely beautiful location. Such an enjoyable time exploring the area with a great spot to stay. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

House was as listed. The internet was not great and had trouble at one end of the house which made using the TV difficult. Had bug issues but maintenance took care of it in a timely fashion. No issues with hot water and location was great. Wished a beach house had some beach towels so we did not have to get our own. They were not listed as included but it would have been a nice addition.

Stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. Loved walking the beautiful beach. The house is well equipped and we enjoyed the backyard deck with fire pit. We had a bit of trouble on the first day with one of the bathrooms, but the property staff was extremely responsive and it was able to be fixed that day, fortunately. It's probably the most professional, responsive management we've experienced across many stays around the world.

5 of my friends and i came in town from several different states for our 30 year high school reunion.. We enjoyed out stay at this house despite the issues that we had. The neighborhood was quite. The house was clean and updated. However, the front door keypad didn't work the whole time we were there and yes we called. There was also no instruction on any rental info that we received about there being a key in a lock box on the fence. That would have been helpful information up front. Also following the instructions we never could get the cable TV to work. There are ants all over the entry way inside the house. Bathroom faucet in hallway won't turn completely off and drips. Very little hot water in master bedroom shower. No one had showered yet so not like we ran the hot water out. Toilet in there is elementary school height. Seriously the shortest toilet Ive ever seen. Gotta get low to potty. Ice maker gets clogged often an shoots ice all over with force when you push the button. The gas grill probably has never been cleaned. It was gross. There are also no grill tools (things etc) so we used a large serving fork. If the owners need to pick one thing to fix...update the rental info sent to guest to include info on where the front door key is especially if you aren't going to fix the key pad door lock. For the money I feel like we could have found a place with less issues on IOP. Just my opinion

This place is exactly as described! I would definitely stay here again. Quick responses to all emails, and they even gave us a few numbers to call and/or text if we had any problems. The home is in walking distance to the beach, but they also had a golf cart that we could rent that made the trip to the beach even easier! In the evenings the backyard was the perfect spot to hang out under the trees. Awesome Trip!

I have to say we were very disappointed with this rental experience. I have rented through VRBO multiple times, but this was my first time dealing with a rental company and not a privately managed property. A property cared for personally by an owner is much better in my experience. Nobody is caring for this property While the company was on top of communications involving check in and check out, they did not care about my experience when I reached out to them. We paid a premium for this rental due to lack of availability, and while we do not expect perfection, we do expect it to be clean and well maintained. The floor of the property was filthy, with dirt coating the bottom of your feet when you walked across it. Our feet were cleaner walking outdoor barefoot than what attached to our feet in that home. We also found it to be bug infested, with some cockroaches found in the bedding, as well as throughout the bathrooms. The windows had not been washed in ages, as it was difficult to see through them. The backyard was not maintained with no mowing or care for landscaping and furniture in poor condition. Regardless, it was unusable due to a very heavy mosquito population which were inside the home as well when we arrived. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The company asked for my opinion when I arrived at the property and when I expressed that it was not clean, they offered to look into it. We only had this rental for four nights and we did not have time to vacate our belongings to address issues that should have been addressed prior to our arrival. I would not recommend this rental until someone does a deep clean, bug control, basic repairs, and replaces everything that broken. A little effort would go a long way with this property. The positive is that it is close enough to the beach that you can walk. It's a distance and they do have a cart, but even that has a flat tire. Par for the course with this property.

Place was gorgeous, great proximity to beach. Only downfall is the amount of kitchen utensils upon cooking. Missing hot plates and not enough hand towels. Received very few garbage bags. But overall the outside was awesome, golf cart was a great thing to use. Would recommend making enter code less numbers!

Good property for family with young children. Short walk to beach and one bedroom has four beds. House is dated and showing some wear, furnishings very plain and basic, but was clean. Info provided on internet access was incorrect and in living room you had to get remote close to modem to work. Frequently had to enter lock code numerous times before it would work. Nice backyard and deck for family. Weather was cold and we had trouble keeping thermostat at a comfortable reading.

This was a really wonderful experience from beginning to end. The home was immaculate, beautiful deck with gas grill and table for 6. The family room and large TVs throughout the home make relaxing a breeze and the three bed three bath layout is perfect for one or a group. The kitchen was great, well stocked with cooking supplies and the code entry system makes it easy to enter and leave the home. Walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and grocery store was really great and allows you to keep the car in the nice sized drive way if you want to take in the walking scenery. Huge back lot fenced in gives you privacy to just relax and enjoy your vacation. The entire experience was five star!

The communication with Turnkey was seamless. They sent me text messages with all the information I needed. Finding the home and checking in was easy. The house was very clean and the yard was well kept. We slept well as the beds were comfortable. The bed linens were clean and of high quality. The bathrooms and kitchen were quite adequate. We cooked a couple of nice meals in the modern kitchen. The backyard was very inviting with the deck and grill and fire pit, but unfortunately the weather was not suitable for us to enjoy. It was a very short and pleasant walk to the beach. This house is very close the supermarket and the islands restaurants which we found convenient. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
