This spacious beach home provides families with quick access to the expansive Isle of Palms beach (only 1.5 blocks away!) as well as a peaceful beach retreat with a private pool (which can be heated for an additional fee) and multiple outdoor areas (including patio, covered decks & a roof deck). With lush, tropical foliage & trees surrounding the house, it is hard to believe you can be this close to the beach yet still feel like the house is tucked away within its own quiet, tropical oasis.



Deja Blue's interior layout & design is just as stunning as the home's exterior features. With its inverted floor plan, the Deja Blue living room, kitchen, dining area, den and master suite are situated on the home's upper level and the remaining 4 bedrooms and game room are located on the home's lower level. This inverted floor plan allows for amazing natural light on the second floor. With its multiple seating areas throughout the inside and outside of the house and an open floor plan layout between the kitchen, living room and dining area, Deja Blue's layout enables members of your group to spend time together while also providing them with the option to relax on their own or in small groups. Your kids will love the ping pong table in the garage, the private pool and the bunk bedroom.

Guests access Deja Blue through a door in the garage. Once you enter the door, you will find an interior staircase to the home's first floor. On this first floor, you will find four of the five bedrooms, a game room with a sleeper sofa and three of the home's bathrooms. You can access the back porch and side porch from three rooms on this floor. Take the stairwell to the upper level to access the living room, kitchen, dining area, master suite, butler's pantry and den with a half bathroom. You can access the second level covered porch (which also leads to the roof deck) from the kitchen and den. Follow the exterior staircase on the covered porch down to the pool area and patio. There is a laundry room with full sized washing machine & dryer. There is a ping pong table on one side of the garage.



Pool is serviced weekly by a pool service company. It is NOT serviced on every arrival day. Storms and prior guests may mean it is not in pristine condition.



Elevator not available for guest use at any time. Guests of the home will need to navigate at least two different sets of stairs.



NO PETS; NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. These are causes for eviction with no refund, and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. This is a residential home -- please be respectful of our neighbors.

There are a couple of items needing immesdiate attention. The gas stove smell, the garage door as the key pad is used to enter the house from the garage and then overall painting and repairs where it looks like some water damage.

Great location and layout

Overall the house was great and we would stay here again! The location was amazing (very short walk to beach) and the floor plan of the house was very conducive for our extended family to each have their own space and plenty of common areas. The rooms are larger than the photos lead on! A few things could’ve made our stay even better - mostly the pool took an entire day to heat to temp and was over chlorinated but cloudy during our stay. And less important, but we quickly ran out of house provided supplies (soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs etc).

Perfect for a Friends Trip

Deja Blue was the perfect beach house for our friend trip for both kids and adults. The walk to the beach was short and easy (right by beach access 31). The location was quiet with a mix of rentals and locals which I think helped with the noise. Being off the main drag of IOP was nice and allowed us to have the kids play outside without fear of cars. The home accommodations were accurate and welll stocked. I certainly recommend!

Family wedding great time. Disappointed the pool wasn’t heated as the weather was cold. Never used the pool. In the future it would be helpful to display the cost of heating pool. I realize now what heatable means. The house was perfect for our family.

Wonderful Stay despite Hurricane Helene

My group of girls enjoyed this property despite being there during Hurricane Helene. The power went out but was back within 12 hours. The amenities were great and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Definitely would return for another trip!

Perfect house in perfect location

I’ve been doing a girls trip for 22 years with the same group. We’ve hit locations all over the US and Mexico and we will most definitely be back to IOP/Charleston and this house! It had a well equipped kitchen, great pool, a layout that made for privacy and quiet for those that wanted it even if the rest of us were gathering in the main spaces, and it was close to the beach, marina and town for shops and nightlife. Management was quick with responses and suggestions. I see why they are so hard core on their “friendly neighbor” policies as you are really close to them and it was so quiet and peaceful on the street. We will be back!

The house exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect space for a large group of friends or family to spend a long weekend. Everything was so easy from check-in to check-out. The home was comfortable and spacious, and just a short walk to the beach. Everything was perfect. Couldn’t recommend this home enough. 12 out of 10!

Wonderful property for family gathering

This property is well-appointed, comfortable and quiet for sleeping. The gathering spaces (inside and outside) are plentiful and spacious. Kitchen is great and includes two dishwashers, which is an added benefit for larger families. There are plenty of stairs to navigate, so caution for groups that include people who do not handle stairs well. Close to the beach and area restaurants; easy drive to downtown Charleston. Customer service is responsive.

Mom & Daughter Gymnastics Getaway

We had an awesome time at Deja Blue! Everything was fantastic! We enjoyed the area, proximity to our event and the beach! Everyone had a nice room to themselves, and lots of space in the main home areas. We only wish we had known about the pool maintenance farther in advance. Overall, everything was great! We’ll definitely be back!

Fire Chief's reunion

A group of Florida young fire department officers in the 70s became good friends by teaching together and although careers took them all over the country they stayed in touch. Now all retired we have a reunion every few years to renew the bonds. This was the 4th gathering. 7 of the 10 were able to attend. We visited Patriots Point and the Charleston Fire Chief gave us a tour and briefing of the Charleston 9 Memorial. We had trouble with a leaking ice maker but the rental agency responded quickly to mitigate the issue. A great visit. But lots of stairs and the elevator was out of service.
