Welcome to the Sea Cabin Condominiums, where the beach is only a walk away and the excitement of Isle of Palms is also within easy reach. These lovely condos have a fantastic location right in the center of the island, and this adorable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom second-floor unit is the perfect escape for a little beach vacation! Living room sleeper sofa is brand new as of June 2023 and new bathroom vanity in April 2023!
Things to know prior to booking your stay: • The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. • Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children. They're also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”. • All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! • Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. • Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay! • Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. • The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. • No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. • No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. • This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
This second floor unit was recently remodeled in 2020, along with having its air ducts cleaned and sterilized in 2021, giving you peace of mind and comfort. Step inside the home to be greeted by a bright entry hallway with new wood-laminate flooring. There are two twin beds built into the wall, providing convenient extra sleeping space that's ideal for the little ones. You'll find the full bathroom also, which offers a beautifully tiled walk-in shower and a unique glass bowl sink.
The hallway leads to the open concept kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can easily make your own lunch to take along to the beach, or to enjoy outside on your balcony. The kitchen offers a modern feel, with white cabinets, a tiled backsplash, and high-quality stainless-steel appliances. You'll also find perks like a coffee maker and microwave!
The living area offers a clever setup, allowing you to enjoy the TV from multiple angles. It's mounted above the four-seater dining set, making it easy to put something on while you're sitting at the table, or you can watch it from the sofa against the far wall. The sofa can be pulled out into a convenient sleeper for extra space! (Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa installed June 02, 2023)A ceiling fan is a bonus feature, as it can keep the temperature cooler if you'd like. Just off the kitchen you'll find a handy desk setup, where you can get some work done or use your laptop—there's also free Wi-Fi in the unit!
Sliding glass doors lead out to the balcony with an ocean view. The space is furnished with a two-seater high-top table, creating the perfect spot to take in the sunrise or sunset—maybe even enjoy a meal or two! Journey back inside to find the bedroom, which offers a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV with cable access. It's a relaxing spot to retreat to after a sunbaked day exploring the shore! When don't have the energy to head out to the beach, you can relax at the shared resort-style pool or unwind by taking advantage of the private fishing pier!
The Sea Cabin Condominiums are 490 square feet and share a Community Pool (including a kiddie pool), Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream shops, island night life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. The complex has a very large pool and a kiddie pool. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves.
Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
Bed Layout: Bedroom has a Queen Bed with TV. There is a Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room. The hallway consists of a bunk bed built-in to the wall - perfect for small children!
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

You can't beat the location. Beach, pool, restaurants, bars all within walking distance. Isle of Palms is gorgeous. The condo needs updating, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom and bedroom are so small there is no room for toiletries or more than one suitcase in the bedroom. I had to keep my suitcase on the dining room table. I do not think it was worth it for the amount we paid

We’ve stayed at several Sea Cabin rental units in the past and love the location. This unit has been redone with new floors, nice large shower, comfortable bed, smart tvs, some new furniture and an upgraded kitchen,(tho the cabinets/drawers lacked handles/knobs which was very annoying, the oven snd stove top confusing and the toaster broken).
However, it needs a deep cleaning, repainting and minor repairs. Tho our stay was at the end of the summer season it seemed the owners could’ve done some upkeep before off season rentals. We asked the local rental realty to clean more, especially the front door area, the sliding door tracking, and door frames. The air exchange grill is rusty and nasty looking. Unless deep cleaned and repainted I would not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great! Only one thing we found a problem with was the condos who have a shoe tray outside their front door which we both tripped over when unloading and loading our luggage! Please be careful.

The condo was overall ok, but "oceanfront" although technically correct, didn't really convey that you look across a lot of parking lot before you see the ocean. Also thought the stove top and ovens were complicated. otherwise fine.

The complex is cute. It’s older but kept up decent. It’s big but didn’t feel overcrowded. The unit is great it’s on a corner (sort of)and close to the second story stairs. If hauling luggage up wooden stairs is not your thing, it’s going to be an issue. Just something to point out and the listing is clear about this also. We really liked the pool and the beach access. All very close. We brought our own beach towels. You should do the same. We rented chairs and an umbrella for the day 10-5 for like 40 something bucks. You reserve online. The bed was comfy, the bunk beds worked for my teen. The updated bathroom was nice and there were plenty of bath and hand towels and toilet paper.The self check in and out was very helpful. The area is so cute with shops and quick service and sit down restaurants and bars all right there. Isle of Palms (IOP) seemed great for couples, families and girls trips. If I were to suggest enhancements I would say some basic beach gear would be a nice touch. I would definitely share this listing with friends interested in the area.

We had THE BEST stay at this rental! When we arrived, the unit smelled super freshly cleaned! The linens & towels were super clean and we were given plenty for our stay. The view was the best and the A/C worked perfectly for the 90 degree days! We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at Sea Cabins - the location cannot be beat and the unit was perfect for my daughter and I. We were traveling for a tennis tournament in Mount Pleasant which was a short drive away - it was nice to escape to the beach every afternoon! I needed to work during the day and the wifi and workspace were perfect!

The location was excellent. And it was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids. The couch/futon needs to updated though because it was very uncomfortable to sit or lay on. And the mattress in the bedroom was not soft. Otherwise, everything else was great!

This unit is located in a very good spot. Nice view of the ocean from our balcony and kitchen table. Close walking distance to restaurants. However, the comfort level of the condo was lacking..the sofa was extremely uncomfortable. The only option for sitting was hard bar top chairs at the table or on the balcony. The kitchen cabinets were hard to access without knobs. Need more counter space for things in the bathroom. The faucet is loose and cabinet is in poor shape. I would also suggest more shelving on either side of the queen bed and lower to be able to reach while in bed. Mattress was also uncomfortable.

Loved the location and views. I could hear the ocean waves with the slider open! Loved the higher table to see the ocean while I worked/had coffee/ate. The location was perfect- close to food, coffee and beach access was perfect. Bed was comfy for just me and curtains added in bedroom helped filter out light.
Not a fan of the convection stove- could not make it work beyond turning on despite using online manual, in condo directions and YouTube videos. Not sure if it works or it’s user error. Pulls on cabinets would be nice to have as per previous reviews stated. Shower was big but vanity could use replacing.
The size was perfect for me being a solo traveler and I felt safe the entire time. Love IOP and would rent again. A few upgrades would definitely help as previous reviewers have listed.
