Strawberry Cottage is tucked in the pines and nestled below the mighty Sawtelle Mountain’s snow capped peak. Though this charming cabin is secluded, it is also conveniently located just off Highway 20 and is only 22 miles to the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The cottage is also usefully close to the only grocery store in Island Park, so you won’t have to drive a long distance for a forgotten item. Connie’s restaurant is just down the way as well as High Mountain Adventures to fill all of your rental needs including kayaks, ATV’s and snowmobiles. If Yellowstone isn’t your only reason for retreat, the cabin’s location provides reasonable distance to all other attractions Island Park has to offer such as: Harriman State Park of Idaho, Henrys Lake, and the Big Springs River. Entrances to miles upon miles of ATV, hiking, biking, and snowmobile trails are just around the bend that wind through forests and zip through meadows.Besides Strawberry Cottage having an incredible location, the cabin itself does not lack a classic cozy charm. With enough beds to sleep 8, this quaint cottage provides an open layout with plenty of space to gather, or find your own space. Each bedroom has a view and most important, an incredibly comfortable bed. The kitchen is fully stocked for your stay to allow for a home cooked meal after a long day of adventures. Curl up with a cup of joe in the morning on the luscious couch or siting area, a perfect place to relax. Park your toys in the spacious garage to keep them out of the elements. Indulge in a s’more around the campfire or soak up the amazing starry nights the mountains provide by spending time outdoors in the cabins spacious yard. This cabin also has space for two RV’s to dry camp on the property if the cabin does not provide enough space for the whole group, and a free electric vehicle charger in the garage.
