SUMMER: Henrys Lake is a thriving natural habitat, and that means bugs! During the warmer months, especially early summer, mosquitoes, midges, and other insects are part of the lakeside experience. The good news for anglers is that all those bugs are a big part of why Henrys Lake is such a fish factory. The trout feed on them and grow big and healthy, which makes for some of the best fishing around! We recommend packing bug spray, long sleeves for evenings, and citronella candles for the fire pit. Mornings and breezy afternoons are usually the most comfortable times to be outside.
WINTER: 4 WHEEL DRIVE, SNOW TIRES, AND HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE RECOMMENDED IN SNOWY CONDITIONS.

Wow! Can't beat the view from this place! We had plenty of space for all 4 of us and being right on the lake was a huge plus. Well appointed home, comfortable furniture and a short drive into Yellowstone made this a home we'll return to if we travel to this part of the country again.
