« Do not recommend this hotel. Was supposedly remodeled fairly recently but things were worn there was mold growing down the sides of the building our room had several patches that were not even painted. This hotel has a water park so when the weekend comes there are kids everywhere, the Hotel has 2 elevator's which only one was working and on Saturday the working elevator broke also was told nothing they could do about it.do not stay at this place. »

« I always enjoy my stay there, I got an executive suite this time kitchen refrigerator wasn't very clean and the hot tub needs to be repainted and the bubbler needs to be fixed it's been like this for 2 years now and it's still the same which I don't understand why they don't do upgrades other than that I enjoy it because I like chisago City and it's close by my son to visit with him but I really wish they would fix the hot tub, because it doesn't look very appealing »

« Nice, welcoming, cozy and clean. It’s been well maintained. Only complaint is I wasn’t told of the $30 pet fee at booking. My kids loved the pool. Spa had been shut down and we were not told of that ahead of time either but they had it up and going again while we were there. Because of the pet fee, I felt it was overpriced for what we got. I would recommend staying here but be aware of the above items so you can be prepared. »

« Sanctuary at Rum River was perfect for our large family get-together. All of the house was clean. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunk beds) bathrooms were well appointed. Kitchen was GREAT...nice to have everything labeled on the cabinets, and have plenty of dishware, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Awesome to have the washer and dryer available. Theatre room in the basement was a great bonus. As well as having the garage...
