« The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft...

« We had a group of 7 retirees staying at the Wolf Lake Lodge for a weekend of snowmobiling. The log home is beautiful and was furnished with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were a bit cramped since we had 3 singles in our group, this was not a surprise. « This 5-hr drive from Chicago made for a very relaxing week away from the city for our family. We made great use of a ready supply of firewood and enjoyed several evenings in the hot tub/pool spa under the stars. The stove will not keep a fire overnight (bummer) and we taped off outside air inlet (worked better, needs flue damper). Overall we had an awesome time. « This cabin was everything it was supposed to be. (Clean, Comfy, Had Everything you would need and more, to spend a week in the UP snowmobiling).
