« This place has its quirks--it's an old motel that's been well renovated, but don't expect it to have the smoothed-over slickness of a fancy chain motel. Look at the photos, and you'll know what to expect. What it does have going for it is an unrivaled view of the Mississippi from high atop a bluff and lovely places to sit outdoors. »

« I really appreciated the manager, Karla, texting me to keep me informed of what was happening with the room. On the downside, and I realize its difficult to do anything about this, but the train blowing its whistle whenever it was rolling by was quite annoying. »

« Some distance from the main road and no neighboor next to my room so it was quiet and I slept well. The room need to be renovated. Everything is dark and smell bad. Althoug smoking is forbidden since many years, the old smoke smell has not been removed. Armchair, A/C, bedspread and curtains are very old and shall be changed. Lighting is insufficient. »

« Accueil sympathique et rapide, chambre bien équipée, cet hôtel est très bien entretenu. Toutes les chambres étant occupées, je pense que l’adresse est déjà renommée. Bien qu’il est noté qu’il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner, celui-ci est bien proposé gratuitement et est très correct. »

« The host was super nice and accomodated our needs/request for an extension cord and help to print something. The beds were super comfortable and clean. I was especially grateful for the hot water since many places don't have that. The location is close to restaurants and stores. »

« Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...

« Welcoming staff. Cheap but correct for the price. Good location The room was not cleaning, hairs and pubic hairs on the toilet. The room is very noisy, looks like i live with the neighbors upstairs »

« Séjour ok à Moline. Le motel est bien situé, dans un quartier sûr et arboré. La chambre est correcte, bien que le linge de lit était un peu usé (quelques tâches, traces type brûlures de cigarettes...). La salle de bain était aussi un peu dans son jus. Pas de petit-déjeuner, mais du café à l'accueil tout de même. Convenable pour visiter Moline, mais clairement pas le meilleur motel du voyage ! »
