« No one at the gated property. No check in instructions. Arrived at 4:03 on 3/13/26 for a three-night stay. I’ve used VRBO for over twenty years and this is the first time I couldn’t access the property. Had to book overpriced Holiday Inn Express rooms because of the Wine and Chocolate Festival I was attending and a huge youth baseball tournament which kept the hotel loud all night each night. « This is a cute little cottage, and we greatly enjoyed our stay here. The host thoughtfully provided many amenities, such as coffee pods, creamer, a microwave, a mini fridge, and plenty of towels and blankets (including blankets for our furry friends). The cottage was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Check in with smooth and communication was excellent. This is a great place! Only a few minutes from downtown Placerville and very affordable as well! »
