The Space:

You walk into an open great room with vaulted ceilings and a 12-foot sliding glass door that opens the whole back wall to the patio. It is bright, the floors are luxury vinyl plank, and the living, kitchen, and dining areas all share one big space, so nobody is stuck in a separate room when the group is together.



The kitchen is set up to actually cook in, with full-size appliances, real counter space, and a clear view out to the backyard and the mountains behind it. The dining area seats the group, and the layout makes it easy to have someone cooking, someone at the table, and someone out by the pool all at once.



The backyard is the reason to book this place. There is a private saltwater pool and spa, a putting green for the golfers in the group, and patio space to lounge and eat outside. Because the home sits on a corner lot with no neighbors directly behind, you get open desert and mountain views and more privacy than most homes on the street.



Sleeping is split for privacy. The primary suite has its own private en-suite bath, and there are two more bedrooms in the main house. On top of that, the attached casita has its own private exterior entrance, a kitchenette, and its own living room and bathroom.



That makes this a strong fit for two families traveling together, in-laws who want their own door, a couple who wants separation from the group, or someone who needs a quiet work setup.



The home is a 2023 build that has been upgraded since, with smart controls for the pool, garage, and security system, so the basics are modern and easy to use.

Guest Access:

Guests have the entire home to themselves, including both floors of the main house and the attached casita with its private entrance.



The property sits inside Terra Lago, a guard-gated community. Guests check in at the staffed gate, so we register guest names ahead of arrival for smooth entry.



Self check-in with a smart lock, so guests can arrive on their own schedule.



The full backyard, including the pool, spa, and putting green, is for guests only and is not shared.



The Neighborhood:

Terra Lago is one of the more sought-after gated communities in north Indio, built around a golf course, a large lake, and walking and hiking trails. It is quiet and residential, which is exactly what most groups want as a home base in the desert.



The Golf Club at Terra Lago is right next to the community, about a three-minute drive, and the Badlands Trail is close by for hiking and getting outside in the cooler months.



Indio is the festival capital of the Coachella Valley. Empire Polo Club, home to Coachella and Stagecoach, is roughly a 15-minute drive. Acrisure Arena, with concerts and Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey, is close by, and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the BNP Paribas Open each March, is a short drive west.



For food and local flavor, TKB Bakery and Deli is a longtime Indio favorite for sandwiches, and Shields Date Garden is the classic stop for a date shake. Old Town La Quinta, with restaurants and shopping, is about 20 minutes away, and the high-end shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert are a similar distance.



Downtown Palm Springs is roughly 30 minutes by car, and Joshua Tree National Park is about 40 minutes north for a day trip. Fantasy Springs and Spotlight 29 casinos are both close for a night out.



Getting Around:

Terra Lago is a guard-gated, residential community with quiet hours. This is not a party or event house, and the HOA does not allow parties or events. Guests who want a calm, comfortable base will love it.

Pool heating is available on request at $60 per day, capped at $1,000 per month for monthly stays. The pool heats to a maximum of 82°F. Spa heating is included at no charge.

The desert gets hot in summer and cool on winter evenings. The home has central air and heating, and the pool is the star in the warm months.

Parking is in the garage and driveway. Please follow HOA rules on street parking.

No smoking indoors. Dogs are welcome for a $150 fee per animal, up to two dogs, and maximum occupancy is eight guests.

Any exterior security cameras will be disclosed here. There are no cameras inside the home.

Please note that we require all guests to sign a liability waiver to stay in the home. This is a requirement of our insurance provider.



★ Does the property have a private pool or spa? ★

Yes! Guests have access to a private pool and spa, perfect for enjoying the warm desert weather. Please note that the pool can be heated up to a maximum of 82°F. This provides a comfortable swimming temperature, but it is not intended to feel “hot” like a spa or hot tub. Due to the nature of the heating system, pool heating can only be offered for the entire duration of the stay and cannot be added on an ad hoc or per-day basis. Please also note that when the hot tub is in use, the system redirects heat to the hot tub, so pool heating will pause and the pool temperature may drop until the system is switched back to pool heating. Please note that the desert can be extremely hot during the summer and cool in the evenings during winter months, making the pool especially enjoyable throughout much of the year.



★ What are the additional fees? ★

To have the pool heated it is $60 a day. For monthly stays the pool heating is capped $1000 per month. There is no charge to heat the spa. Pool heating is available upon request. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you would like to use it, so we can ensure the system is properly checked and working before your arrival. Pool heating systems can be sensitive, and advance notice allows us time to address any potential issues. The hot tub will not be hot at check-in. Due to energy-saving measures, hot tubs cannot be left running continuously, as turning them on disables the cleaning mode. For this reason, they are only activated for a few hours at a time. Guests may turn it on upon arrival or contact us to have it activated.



★ What is the parking situation? ★

The property includes parking in the garage and driveway. Please follow all Terra Lago HOA parking rules, as street parking restrictions are strictly enforced and violations may result in fines. ★ Is the property pet-friendly? ★

Pets are allowed for a $150 fee per animal. We accept up to 2 dogs per day, up to 75 lb each, house-trained dog over one year of age. We kindly request that they are kept off of the beds and sofa. Dogs must be crated or otherwise secured when left unattended, and we kindly ask that you use the provided furniture throws if your pet is allowed on the furniture. If pet hair is found on the beds, there will be a $150 fine per bed where hair is detected for additional cleaning. Dogs are not permitted in the swimming pool. Cats may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning caused by their pets beyond normal wear and tear.



★ Are there any noise restrictions or quiet hours? ★

Yes - Community quiet times are between 10pm and 8am. Amplified music and is not allowed. Respectful low volume music until 10PM is allowed. All music must be off after 10PM.



★ Is early check-in or late check-out available? ★

We are no longer able to offer early check-in or late check-out. If you would like extra time at the start or end of your stay, please book the night before or the night after - that way the home is yours for the whole day and there is no rush at either end.



★ Are there any restrictions on the number of guests or visitors? ★

Yes - we cannot have more people staying than the amount posted on the listing. Parties & Events are strictly prohibited. We require the contact details for all adults staying at the property.



★ Is this a good property for events or celebrations? ★

No. Terra Lago is a residential community, and the HOA strictly prohibits parties and events. Guests seeking a peaceful and relaxing environment will love the home and community.



★ Are there security cameras on the property? ★

Yes, at the front door powered, driveway solar and side gate solar. No interior cameras.



★ What supplies are provided? ★

We provide roughly a week's worth of essentials to get you started - toiletries, paper goods and basic cleaning supplies. For longer stays, or if you get through them sooner, you're welcome to top up with whatever you prefer.



Minimum Age Requirement: The primary guest making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older



The pool is professionally cleaned twice a week. Due to occasional desert sandstorms, you may notice some sand or debris between scheduled cleanings. A small pool vacuum is provided for guest use if you'd like to freshen up the pool between professional service visits.



Please note that our gardening and pool maintenance teams may visit the property periodically to ensure everything remains in excellent condition. They will only access outdoor areas and will not disturb your stay.
