Inside, soaring ceilings, large windows, and skylights bring natural light into a home filled with character. Brick flooring, a striking spiral staircase, and an overlooking loft give the space a warm, rustic feel. Gather around the 10-foot dining table for leisurely dinners, board games, and conversations that last well into the evening.

The sleeping spaces include two rooms with large beds and an airy loft sleeping area with three beds. Soft colors and views of the surrounding trees create a restful setting after a day of exploring.

Outside, wander the wooded acreage, enjoy a meal in the outdoor dining spaces, or settle into an Adirondack chair around the stone fire pit. As evening arrives, outdoor string lights add a welcoming glow—perfect for relaxing together and enjoying the quiet setting.

Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods of Johnson County. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

All fireplaces are seasonal and available for use from October 1st - April 1st.

ALL EVENTS, DAY GUESTS, AND PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.

Base rate for this property is set at 2 people, each additional guest will be charged $30 per person per night.
