« The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. « This place was listed as 2 half bathroom s. In reality it was one half bathroom and a bathing only room. Very misleading. There was no Welcome Book to tell us anything. We look forward to that. Knives were quite dull. Very few plates. But there was one awesome fry pan that fried our eggs beautifully. Note on the wall said to put garbage in the garage. There was a lot of garbage in there from before us. However the host was very responsive and helpful when contacted. Nice quiet clean location. »
