« Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

« La location est très bien équipée, propre et la literie est confortable. La propriétaire (barbara) est très agréable, souriante et discrète. La maison est isolée en pleine campagne entourée d'animaux de la ferme, vaches, brebis, etc... et 2 chats très caressants . Pour les visites des sites irlandais la voiture est indispensable. Le séjour était très agréable et le paysage irlandais magnifique. Il manque juste un salon de jardin pour profiter de l'extérieur par jour de beau temps. »

« The views of the ocean from this house were amazing. It’s a beautiful peaceful location and a short walk to the Cliff of Moher walking trail. You do need a car to get around to explore the area. Local taxis are also very good. The just left some local treats which were appreciated. »

« From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. « Fanore is a bit isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. We were able to relax and still explore the surrounding towns and nature attractions. Would highly recommend for a way to decompress. The house was comfortable and was more than enough space for a family of 4. As with any house there were a few quirks (hot water runs out after 15-20 minutes s you have to plan showers)- nothing that isn't easily managed. Highly recommend for a rural getaway in Western Ireland. »
