With ample space for three guests, this retreat has been beautifully furnished, and features a charming selection of guitars providing a unique backdrop as part of the cottage’s eye-catching decor.
The ground floor of this cheery hideaway offers a warm welcome, with a beautifully equipped kitchen with stone flooring, which leads through to a friendly panelled dining room perfect for family meals. Upstairs, the first floor has a cosy single bedroom and a stylish lounge with a Smart TV, ample seating and a collection of guitars for the more musical guest. On the second floor, you’ll find a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom. From the kitchen, a door leads out into the small and enclosed courtyard, which features a decked seating area perfect for a morning coffee. Please note there’s a strict unloading-only policy along the street – parking is available in a public car park behind the property.
The cottage is just metres away from the working harbour, with a wealth of pubs, cafes, shops, restaurants and art galleries locally. At the harbour, you can watch the daily catch come in, or take a boat trip out into the channel to explore the picturesque island of Lundy. Ilfracombe also has some beautiful beaches with attractions including the Ilfracombe Aquarium, the Landmark Theatre and Capstone Hill. Exmoor National Park is only a mile east, home to Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Heddon Valley, all within 12 miles.
