« This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. « I had a lovely stay at the guest house! It's a beautiful, cozy house, with charming decoration, helpful staff and lovely details (I loved the complimentary homemade cookies in the room!). My only note would be that the bedroom I was in was not super spacious and its bathroom (separate but easily accessible across the hall) was extremely narrow so not sure how that would work for bigger people or couples. I would stay here again though, especially in this season with the gorgeous trees in bloom...

« Séjour particulièrement chaleureux dans une chambre très confortable, spacieuse, moderne et joliment décorée, L’ensemble attenant à l’épicerie du village. Vous y serez extrêmement bien reçus. La cour intérieure et sa serre fleurie vous accueillent pour une pause « coffee Tea ». Le breakfast soigné et copieux vous permettra de bien commencer votre journée. « Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. « This B&B is a hidden gem. If I am honest it's better than a lot of hotels I have stayed in. Helen and Nigel are fantastic hosts and their attention to detail is outstanding. the rooms are spacious, comfortable and Modern. The Breakfast was to die for, cooked to perfection and of a size where I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. I won't hesitate to book again next time we are in the area. »

« Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. Would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be back. Many thanks...

« bien placé pour aller a pied dans le centre d'Oban. un peu vieillot,on entend les voisins, mais les bouless quies sont fournies , bonne idee un peu exigue mais pour une nuit, çà le fait bon breakfast, jolie salle de dejeuner. »

« Le plus beau B&B de notre séjour en Ecosse! Tout était parfait, l’accueil chaleureux, les hôtes serviables, la chambre élégante et de bonne dimension, très belle salle de bain, moderne et très propre. Le lounge est superbe, nous y avons passé une partie de la soirée en toute tranquillité. Une note parfaite pour cet établissement, rien de moins!!! »

Breakfast was wonderful & delicious! The property is very nice and well maintained and the room had great amenities and was very comfortable and relaxing.
