Avete mai provato a nuotare in mare quando piove? E' come immergersi in una vasca calda quando l'acqua par perdere la sua forma. In questa foto riporto di Belitung, un'isola in Indonesia, dove il turismo occidentale non ha ancora approdato, che mantiene autentica la cucina locale. Giusto per dire, ho affittato per un'intera giornata la long boat in foto a soli 20 euro (incluso di pilota).

Definitely not ideal for surfing since the beaches are so tranquil and calm. There are no paddle boarding rentals, yet since tourism here is still pretty scarce. It was worth bringing your own Paddleboard, though. #WeekendGetaway
Another breathtaking view at another island off of Belitung. There are a plethora of stunning islands off of Belitung island. Each one is surrounded with captivating and dramatic rocks, clear water that makes you want to jump in and swim all day long, and white sands. Belitung is more than twice of the size of Singapore. Despite of its almost unknown name compared to Bali, the roads around the whole island are smooth and very well taken care of. Which makes going around the island to be very easy. These fascinating smaller islands are found on the west side of Belitung. The closest ones are about ten minutes away from the dockage area. To get to Belitung you must fly from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. It is a 50-minute flight. Absolutely recommend to do island hopping once you visit Belitung. It's as beautiful as island-hopping in Greece or the Mediterranean, and with warm water. It's like swimming in the bath tub of Mother Nature. #WeekendGetaway
