« This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. There are no options and the nearest place to get food is miles away. They offer pizza on Monday for $35 which is ridiculous. There is no fridge or...

« The lady at the reception was really kind and gave us quite a few good tips for dinner. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a little walk down to the private shore which is really beautiful. The only con here is about breakfast: first, the previous hosts' breakfast had been left on our terrace; second, our own breakfast was quite limited, we would have liked to have a choice. »

The place was adorable, cozy, clean and perfectly set up for a couple, with homey touches including basic kitchenette supplies, coffee, tea, creamer, dish ware, utensils and even a water filter pitcher. « The cabin was cozy and clean, providing just what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was fantastic; I had an issue receiving his messages, but it was resolved during our visit. The location is convenient, just a 40-minute drive to and from Bangor Airport and a little over an hour's drive to Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this cabin. »
